Hmmm, an interesting concept, and one that duelists seem reluctant to try. Insect decks are becoming increasingly more playable with the new monsters out in recent packs. I will help you to change this deck around and make sure that you win duels instead of getting squashed like a bug (bad pun :speechles )
Take out:
all of the things associated with great moth (this monster is horrible and deserves no respect)
1 x cockroach knight (it is too easy to lock yourself)
1 x insect soldier of the sky (It only gets boosted when fighting wind monsters)
1 x javelin beetle and its pact (avoid this at all costs)
1 x insect spray (doesn't this just kill all insects?)
2 x drill bug (when does this ever do damage)
2 x leghul (direct damage is over rated - it is too weak to survive)
I realise that I can be a bit too harsh but to make it up to the 40 card requirement I will suggest some additions. Feel free to ask me about any changes I have suggested.

Brunno-This deck can't be made until june but it is one of the best insect decks to make
i dont see any point in using insect barrier since you wouldnt bee able to atack also you may want to use sakuretsu armour (trap) it may not be perticularly insect based but it is useful also why do you need parasite parasite when you have dna sergery if you dont mind could you review my deck do an advanced search for dark blade-01 in the user space review deck help please(2)

Sakuretsu - is unnessicary in most decks
Insect Barrier - prohibits opponents insect monsters from attacking and
Parasite Paracide - is Deck control you are slowing down your opponents deck flow when you add cards to it plus just having one way to do something, lastly the 1000 point burn is fun

sorry to burst everyone's bubble bt the great moth cards are actually the most useful cards in a true insect deck... insect decks focus on screwing up your opponent's deck, hand, and field, not really killing them, but not letting them do much but use magic or traps... thus if done right, an incect deck can EASILY stall for the 6-8 turns needed for your super-cect to be ready.
also, i'd add in alot of m/t negation cards, and incect spray is a must, since once you get paracide onto their side all their monsters are incects if becomes a threat to even your almighty BLS envoy, also hand destruction would make a good side deck card

All decks are about killing your opponent nuff said
the only thing you have to base your generalazation (fun spelling) on is weevil so far and that lil punk didn't negate a thing just stalled, and stalling is one of the least useful ways of winning perfectly great moth is a FUN card but is not in any way (other than attack) good.
Every good duelist (and most bad one's too) can stop perfectly ultimate great moth before it even comes out
insect decks should be fast/swarming just like.... insects
no offense, but you level up must be newb. GREAT MOTH SUCKS. its a 2600 attacker with NO effect and will be killed with all the special effects in the current meta. By the way tony, he should use pinchopper or howling insect. howling is the one where you search 1500 or less, pinch lets you special summon ANY insect from hand, thats good when scorpion is inside ur hand, by the way, whats millenium scorpion, ive never heard of it so im sure its coming out in TLM.
to use level up on ultimate insect is pointless you dont get his effect which is crippling to your opponent. of course they can just get rid of him but needing a 2850 hitter off the summon is pretty tough when rivalry of warlords is messing up the summoning. then insect barrier/dna surgery or parasite interrupts the attack anyway. I also got a ruling on parasite's card text he doesn't have to stay on their side of the field to infect their monsters. once heburnsthem creature swap it and watch as they shake. they pray that face-down isn't mask of restrict.
