Simple question, when my opponent responds to a summon of my monster, and I respond with a card creating a chain, how many times (if any more) can we respond to the summon of that same monster in this chain?
Example:
1. P1: Summon BLS - EotB
2. P1: Use Priority to remove a monster
3. P2: responds to summon with Bottomless Trap Hole
4. P1: Chains with Book of the Moon
5. P2: Chains with Raigeki Break
6. P1: Chains with Ring of Destruction
7. P2: Chains with Torrential Tribute in response to the original summon (legal?)
7. P2: Chains with Torrential Tribute in response to the original summon (legal?)
That would be illegal since Black Luster Solider - Envoy of The Beggining already used the effect to remove a monster, and Torrential Tribute is resolved when the Monster is summoned. As long as you have the right cards such as you used in your examples 1-6 you can keep chaining the Monster.
What if P1 summons the monster, then P2 uses Bottomless Traphole, can P1 still chain with something like Torential Tribute? Or is there only one chance period to respond to that summon?
that chain is perfectly legal, you can chain as long as you have cards to chain that are of appropriate spell speed. the torrential is legal because its still responding to the summon, similar to playing mirror force and magic cylinder to teh same attack.

I'm not sure about that second part. If BLS is summoned, the opponent should be the first to use their priority, not you being able to remove the instance it's summoned
i thought you always believed in priority ovados, oh well, thats what i get for ignoring this site for so long.
anytime a monster is summoned the turn player has priority to activate any ignition effect of a monster on his/her side of the field. BLS has an ignition effect, a summon just occured, and BLS is on the field.
Turn player always has priority first.
Example:
P1: I will remove *light monster A* and *dark monster A* and summon BLS.
Player 2 now should respond with a phrase close to this.
P2: Are you using priority to use his effect?
Player 1 will have priority, because he/she is the turn player.
P1: Yes, i will remove, face-up/face-down monster (blahetcbleh), from the game.
This is Chain link 1, and Spell Speed 1, as it is an effect of an effect monster (continuous, ignition, trigger, and/or flip.) Player 1 now passes priority to player 2, after the activation/resolution of the said effect.
P2: I now activate Bottemless Trap Hole on BLS-EotB.
This is where the actual chain begins. Chain Link 2 is BTH, and Spell Speed 2.
P1: I now activate Book of Moon on my BLS-EotB.
This is Chain Link 3, and Spell Speed 2, as well.
P2: I now discard, *card from hand*, to activate Raigeki Break on Book of Moon. *im assuming this?..?*
This is Chain Link 4, and Spell Speed 2, also.
P1: I now activate Ring of Destruction on BLS-EotB. *Also assuming this?*
This is Chain link 5, and Spell Speed 2, tu che!
P2: I now activate Torrential Tribute upon the summoning of BLS-EotB.
This is Chain Link 6, and again, spell speed 2.
6 Link in this chain: BLS-EotB effect, BTH, Book of Moon, Raigeki Break, Ring of Destruction, Torrential Tribute.
As all chains do, this resolves backwards: Torrential Tribute, RoD, Raigeki Break, Book of Moon, BTH, BLS-EotB effect.
Torrential Tribute will destroy all monsters on the field.
Ring of Destruction will lose target and fizzle, Raigeki Break will lose target assuming it was targeting BLS, Book of Moon will not be negated, but lose target anyway and fizzle, BTH will lose target and fizzle, BLS-EotB effect is not negated and removes no monster from the field and out of the game, because Torrential Tribute destroyed all monsters; BLS then is destroyed due to Torrential Tribute.
*thinks* I'm not a lvl anything judge, and I either:
A) did this correct, since i read word for word form the Version 5.0 rules book, or
B) fouled this up horrendously, and disregard my post ENTIRELY.
Thank you, and I'm really hoping I did this correct. *crosses fingers*

A) your very correct and thanks alot for mentioning it, i would like to hope i did a decent job on it. Im so excited over such a stupid thing.. heh. =)
B) yea and i was just asuming that much, and your probably right, but as resolving it i think i did okay? lol... im so just wrong... getting excited over easy/small things.
Thank you,

Torrential Tribute will destroy all monsters on the field.
Ring of Destruction will lose target and fizzle, Raigeki Break will destroy (assuming) Book of Moon, Book of Moon will not be negated, but lose target anyway and fizzle, BTH will lose target and fizzle, BLS-EotB effect is not negated and removes (monster) from the field out of the game, then is destroyed due to Torrential Tribute.

You came close. =) For the last part, BLS-EotB's effect was not negated but there will be no removal occuring as all the monsters on the field have already been destroyed by Torrential Tribute.
Also, the word fizzle is not really what we use. We use resolve without effect. =)
