Exodia - does it have any chance? Also...HORUSXodia
This is the speediest Exodia deck I could think of. I've never tried Exodia before, so I am sure I'm missing stuff. I decided against Nimble Momonga and Mystic Tomato because they have to be destroyed by battle - too slow
Monsters: 18
5 Exodia pieces
1 Sangan
3 Emissary of the Afterlife
2 Spirit Reaper
3 Thunder Dragon
3 Magician of Faith
1 Sinister Serpent
Traps: 5
1 Torrential Tribute
1 Ring of Destruction
2 Gravity Bind
1 Backup Soldier
Spells: 17
1 Pot of Greed
1 Graceful Charity
1 Delinquent Duo
2 Upstart Goblin
1 Monster Reincarnation
2 Dark Factory of Mass Production
2 Messenger of Peace
2 Level Limit Area B
2 Book of Moon
2 Scapegoat
1 Swords of Revealing Light
Also, based on an idea a friend gave me, I thought of eliminating 2 cards from the deck, (1 Magician of Faith? and 1 Backup Soldier) and adding 2 Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6. It can attack through Messenger, Swords and Level Limit and basically gives the opponent something to occupy their time other than stopping me from drawing pieces.
Thoughts? Maybe Metamorphosis to morph a goat into Thousand Eyes Restrict for more stall?
Also, what, if anything, goes into an Exodia side deck?
Lol, I know how you feel man. I've ran an Exoida deck, but I'll do the best fix I can for it...
First thing I notice, you should add in at least 2 Magic Drains, those take care of Delinquent Duos, Card Destructions, or other hand killing cards your opponent might play. Consider taking out the Upstart Goblins for those.
That's all I really see wrong this deck; like I said, I'm not great at fixing Exodia.

Well, I'm not great at MAKING exodia, so I guess we're even haha
Thanks for the help. I thought about adding those, but more likely I'll add them into the side deck. I can recover from one Delinquent Duo, as that's the only hand-d card people run. Spirit Reaper I can deal with. Dark Factory and backup soldier takes care of both those. And nobody main decks Card Destruction so nothing to worry about game one outside of Duo.
Second game I think i can side deck in the magic drains and jammers, maybe a couple of night assailants for discards and to get back magician of faith to make up for removing some speed. Because you KNOW they're side decking in bad stuff like Card-D, Mobius, Trunade, Swarm of Locusts, etc. Maybe I'll add an extra Scapegoat for more stall to make up for them putting more destruction to get around the LLAB, GBind and MoP.
I changed the deck around a bit yesterday and put in a Des Lacooda to the main deck. It seemed to work well enough in testing.
As for Call of the Haunted, I was thinking "well what would I use it on to get back?" I totally blanked out on SANGAN...geeez I'm stupid I have to find room for Call AND Premature Burial now.....
You should try out a couple of jars of greed. They good for the effect and your opponent will usually waste their mystical space typhoon on it and you can just chain it.
also... when i ran exodia i threw in a creator and a couple of compulsorys and a sinister for a quick way to get pieces back from the graveyard and he's a high defense. reincarnation does the same thing but with this combo you can usually get 3 pieces back.
Side deck-
Nimble Momonga x3
Monster Reincarnation x2
miracle dig x2 (in case they're running a removal deck)
mystic tomatos x2
Magic Drain x2
backup soldiers x2
reload x2
Jar of Greed was something I totally forgot about when building the deck. Problem is I'd have to find room for it. Suggestions? I already have to find room for Premature Burial and Call of the Haunted.
Try out Cannon Soldier(this is a personal taste). You can use it to launch your Emmisaries and Sangan inflicting damage and getting your pieces quickly.
Also try Solemn Judgment, that card stops just about everything and can be a indirect game winner for you.

Though it wouldn't work on Embissary because Embissary has to be destoyed as a result of battle while Cannon Soldier just removes it from the field.
Thats a negatory yugfreak, this is Emmisary of the Afterlife's text:
When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, each player selects 1 Level 3 or lower Normal Monster from his/her Deck, and adds it to his/her hand after showing it to the opponent. The Decks are then shuffled.

Double crap...
I was thinking of the wrong card. I was thinking of it like Mystic Tomato's effect.
Sorry about that.
More bumps for you Jef Mopp. :nervous:
