Hello to all the yugioh fans out there!


My question is, can scapegoats & stray lamb tokens be tributed to summon toon monsters such as toon summon skull or toon blue eyes since the tribute is for a special summon? I run a toon deck (FOR FUN) and kinda stumbled onto this idea. Please correct me if I'm wrong though.

As long as the tribute your giving away the goats are special summons its perfectly legal to tribute them

Since it is by a Special Summon you can use the tokens for the Toon Monsters.

Just remember that in both cases, you can't summon the Toon in the same turn you play Scapegoat/Stray Lambs because of their summoning restrictions.

Yep, you can summon them as long as it's not on the same turn. A little hint, have you cosidered using Jam Breeding Machine? You have to set the toon card, but you get tokens every turn, and they go into attack mode.

Problem is though, the Toons are Special Summons, and Jam Breeding Machine prevents Normal Summons, Flip Summons, and Special Summons while it is active on the field.

By the way . . .

Those Stray Lamb tokens can be used for regular Tribute Summons as well.

you can tribute the stray lambs put not the sacpgoat.Beacuase oi the scapgoat effect it write you cannont tribute the token but its not write on stary lambs effect.

The question in hand is if its eligible to sacrifice for SPECIAL SUMMON....... both Stray Lambs and Scapegoats are capable of being sacrificed for a Special Summon

deck_wraith is correct here, as the scapegoat tokens can be used as tributes for SPECIAL SUMMON for example junior_002's Toon Summoned Skull or using a Scapegoat token with the effect of Metamorphosis to bring out a level one fusion monster.
