when i summon my dark magician then he chains ring but i chain my dedicaton through light and dark dose my dmc get destroyed by ring?

It would go like this:

Chain Link 1: Ring of Destruction
Chain Link 2: Dedication Through Light and Darkness

The chain would resolve backwards, so DTLaD would Tribute Dark Magician first, Special Summoning DMoC. Then, Ring will try to resolve, but it will have lost its target (Dark Magician) so its effect will disappear without causing damage to either player.
