If you activate Dark Factory of Mass Production "Select 2 Normal Monsters from your Graveyard and add them to your hand.", but have only 1 normal monster in your Graveyard can you activate Dark Factory? Please Respond!

You must have 2 Normal Monsters when using "Dark Factory of Mass Production" since it targets 2 monsters.

On a side note: suppose you activate Dark Factory, and your opponent plays Disappear on one of your normal monsters (and you only have two). You still must resolve Dark Factory as much as possible - meaning you must return one of the normal monsters you selected back to your hand.

If a card text says "select <number> of <card> from your <deck/graveyard/etc and <whatever>" then you must have that many at the time of activation to be able to use it. If it says "Select UP TO <number..." then you only need to have 0-whatever number it says on the card to activate it.
