How it works: I want to build a dragon deck who's main backbone is Tyrant Dragon. I'm aware its a bit difficult to build and very few have been able to give me good advice. My goal is to get him out as quick as possible. Some problems I see is that he's hard to get out n is sometimes left too vulnerable and is easily killed off once I get him out. But I've managed to deal heavy damage with this guy a lot when I manage to keep him in ther game for a few turns, and especially with the help of Dragon's Rage. So if you could suggest some better supports to my deck than wat I currently have, I'd be much obliged.
Magics: (16)

Torrential Tribute

A Hero Emerges x2 (will replace 1 for Lvl Conversion Lab)

King Dragun
King Dragun brought out by Metahorphisis a Fusilier Dragon would provide protection from targeting effects and you can even use King Dragun to SS Tryant from you hand easily
I run a Tryant Dragon in my Horus deck and if may have some good ideas
Just watch out for non targeting effects, but could also run My Body as a Shield to help againt those
I also recomend ditching Troop Dragon. Element and Masked are not as good as they could be, expically Element, with withouth ELement, theres not much Masked can search for at all.
-3 Troop Dragon
-3 Masked Dragon
-2 Element Dragon

I usually don't work with Tyrant Dragon, so I might have forgot a few cards.
In all honesty I think you should just run tyrant as the scenario can become too situation with Horus and Tyrant, leading to bad hands at the start of the game
I see, well the only reason I even had them in my deck was as deck thinners and since they stall, that I way I could tribute them easier for Tyrant Dragon. But I do think DragonKing might have a point in jus makin Tyrant Dragon the scenario n get Horus out of my deck. Perhaps this would speed things up for him. Any more suggestions guys? :)
Spells: (14)
Stamping Destruction x2
Nobleman of Crossout x2
MST
Heavy Storm
Premature Burial
Pot of Greed
Graceful Charity
Swords of Revealing Light
Snatch Steal
Tribute to the Doom
Lightning Vortex
Traps: (8)
Dragon's Rage
Torrential Tribute
Call of the Haunted
Ring of Destruction
Magic Cylinder
Mirror Force
Bottomless Traphole x2
- Dragon's Rage
- Cylinder
= 6 Traps
This is entirely optional:
- 2 Bottomless
+2 Hero Emerges or Level Conversion Lab
That should trim the deck and focus it more on Tyrant Dragon.
PS: I left the Mirage Dragons in because they stop things like Mirror Force, but in all honesty, you should probably drop them for a couple more Spells or Traps.
burst breath tributes a dragon to destroy all of your opponents dragons with a defense less than its attack power.
it's almost a big setup. you summon spear dragon, attack a monster, and it goes to defense. set burst breath. your opponent will want to swarm it, and burst breath will deflect that back in his face.
You know something, I was playin my cousin the other day with my dragon deck and those burst breath really do help lol. Ironically I did the exact thing u mentioned bobman.
Dragon Reborn I thank you for your help and will begin the preps for this deck. Of course I do plan to tweak it up a bit and and fix it so it fits my style. thx!
twin headed behemoth, cost down, level conversion lab and a hero emerges will help with summoning, along with king dragun should let you run 3 tyrant dragons
if you have problems with face down monsters, put ceasefire or dark mirror force in your side deck
Well I modified my deck and considered all of your suggestions u guys. I greatly appreciat the feed back and so here is wat my deck currently looks like, thx!
Comment and rate it plz!
P.S This isn't the final look of my deck, but this is wat it will look like overall. I will make some more fixes if possible.
The best support cards for a Dragon deck would have to be Lord of D. and put in some flutes that is the easiest way to get a dragon out and protect him. Also having King Dragun is good for the main reson it is lord of d only stronger and it also has a built in flute. Also another few good support cards would be they might be a little old but a wing beat of giant dragon is good and also dragon's rage and also dragon's bead
