if i call of the haunted a monster and any turn after that someone brings jinzo 2 the field and heavy storm is played killin off call is the monster that call brought out of the graveyard still alive cause of jinzos effect? also if i play call and my opp chains mst 2 call but i was usin call 2 get back jinzo when it resolves it relsoves backwards so i get jinzo the mst kills call but jinzo stays r does mst kill call b4 i can get jinzo out? dont heard yes and no on both things

1) If Jinzo is on the field, the effect of Call that destroys the monster is negated, so the monster stays.

2) If you chain MST to Call (meaning Call is activated first, then MST), then Jinzo never gets to the field because MST resolves before Call. If you chain Call to MST (meaning MST is activated first, then Call), then Jinzo reaches the field before MST resolves and Jinzo lives.

1. The monster will as Jinzo negates the remaining effect of Call of the Haunted.

2. If MST or Dust Tornado or Royal Decree/etc is chained to the activation of Call of the Haunted to destroy/negate it before it can fully resolve, then no monster is special summoned because Continuous Trap Cards must resolve while still face-up on the field to get their effects (This is why you can chain quickplay magic cards to Imperial Order like MST to destroy it to prevent your magic card from being negated)

in both cases the monster lives.... if i read it right...

Yes. Because of the fact that Jinzo was played after your Call of the Haunted. Since Jinzo negates trap cards, it wouldn't matter if Call was destroyed because the creature would still be there. If Jinzo was on the field when you played Call, then Call would be negated.

Well, let's look at it this way.

CotH is played

Chain: MST

So. Before CotH can be resolved, MST's effect takes place, destroying CotH, and since CotH was the first in the chain, you would not bring back a monster from the graveyard. Now if you chained CotH to MST, then that would be different, as the monster would be summoned to the field first, then destroyed, but in Jinzo's case, it would be summoned to the field, but remain there.

1. monster lives
2. jizzle dies
