Maybe I'm missing something, but this just makes no sense to me...
Does The End of Anubis negate the effect of Exiled Force?
Some people on that *other site* are trying to say that Exiled Force's effect is a graveyard activated effect and The End of Anubis negates it.
I say no way, but I have been wrong on a lot of things lately.
What do you all think?
Is there anything from a judge board that says this explicitely since I do not have access to any judge site or get any emails from UDE despite being a level 2 judge since February of 2004....
Anyway, the new judge board is lists.upperdeck.com/read/
Note that the / at the end must be included.
The current ruling (believe it or not) is that Exiled will be negated by Anubis.
I actually made a followup post to that one that came down a couple of days ago, because it was kind of vague as to what the result would be in my opinion. I just asked for a straight answer. Hopefully I will get it.
I'd say it would be negated because:
1) Skill drain doesnt negate it, because it happens in the graveyard.
2) Since it happens in the graveyard, The End of Anubis's text says it negates all effects of monster, spell, and tar cards that designate a card in the graveyard, or that activate in the graveyard .
It happens, or activates in the graveyard, so Exiled Force is negated

PS: All rulings etc refered to as by Azurai are with 0% proof, due to I am a Level 0 (zero) judge. Have a nice day :)
Exiled force would be negated because it happens to be in the Graveyard when its effect resolves. Now its effect would still go off if Banisher of Light was on the field and Exiled force took a rode trip to the RFG pile.

Actually IT DOES NOT happen in the graveyard, nowhere in the card does it state that....... nevertheless this conversation was tiredly discussed some time ago, at it still was said that TEoA did in fact negate the effect of Exiled Force
For the time being till people stop arguing about if Exiled Force Activates in the Graveyard because Costs are paid before activation, or if it Just Resolves in the Graveyard, or where ever it tends to land after its tribute of itself, happens as good as any word. But if makes you a happy camper, I will say it resolves.
