3.) If you are intent on summoning Phoenix then add 1 more Apprentice MAgicians and 1 more Hand of Nephthys drop Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer beacuse it severs 0 purpose or suport in the deck.

Ok I see what you are doing but Hajime is wrong on taking out Kycoo because he is tech against Chaos, and Zombies.....

Maybe take out one Berserk Gorilla for Enraged Battle Ox because presence that is lacking of trample....

If thats the case Soul Releas would work better in here! Soul Release would remove 5 cards of your choice. Kycoo only removes monsters who have been in the grave for a turn or more.

Kycoo can remove any monsters in the graveyard, unless it's a monster he JUST sent to the graveyard from him attacking it. Plus he prevents your opponent from removing cards from play from the graveyard, making BLS and Book of Life useless as long as he's faceup on the field. So all in all, he's better the Soul Release. (Not that Soul Release is a bad card or anything. Anways, I'd say:

-1 Gorilla/Spirit Reaper
+1 Enrage Battle Ox

Rapes goats, and also allows Phoenix and Gorilla to rape goats as well.

Sorry to everyone who has posted i've only just found time to return r/f's. I really like the enraged abttle ox idea. I'll be sure to try it.

I must express my appriciation to everyone that suggested i add enraged battle ox. It has worked like a charm.

Well it's not always easy to find things to suggest or change about decks like these. Generally they are all pretty solid and have some few things here and there that are different to fit that person's playing style. I guess that's just the nature of the game though. Here's a few suggestions I have:

- Spirit Reaper

Personal preference again, but it doesn't really look like you need Spirit Reaper in the deck. You already have lots of monsters that you are going to want to play face down to really get value out of so having a Spirit Reaper wall doesn't really seem to be buying you much.

+ Tsukuyomi

So you are already running two Scapegoats and a Metamorphosis, why not make some really good use out of them? Also it's going to let you really take advantage of Magician of Faith. There have been so many good things said about this monster over the last few months that I really don't want to harp on this, I'm sure you understand how good this monster is. Don't forget she can take out Breaker, Tribe, Beserk Gorilla, and Kycoo all by herself.

I was also thinking about Wild Nature's Release for this deck, but unfortunately it only effects Beast and Beast-Warrior Types, not Winged Beasts. It would have been a nice way to pump the Sacred Phoenix to 4000 attack and then destroy it in the End Phase to help trigger it's effect. Oh well.

Well i took my deck to my deck to my local tourney and i got 2nd again. Twice in 2 tourneys now -_-. Well the enraged battle ox made the biggest different and really helped. Brain control just sucked and has been replaced with a metamorphosis.

I decided to try out the second enraged battle ox and it has done realtivly fine. Needs some more play testing though.

Well IMO 2 EBO is kinda iffy since 1 is all that is needed.
I would ditch 1 EBO for another DDA, but other than that I like it, 9/10

i personally prefercyber jar in phoenix decks, since it will revive.
