Masked Drgn vs Skill Drain

I know this is a dumb ques but I just wan clarification

Masked drgn and troop drgn, are they graveyrd effects or when they hit the field w/ skill drain on...are they just reg. monsters and do not get their effect of getting another one.

They would not be Negated as they activate in the Graveyard.

"Skill Drain" negates the effects of face-up Effect Monsters on the field, but does not negate effects that activate in the Graveyard, such as "Witch of the Black Forest", "Sangan", "Mystic Tomato", "Giant Rat", "Exiled Force", "Sinister Serpent", and "Vampire Lord".
