1st card...Fairy Meteor Crush...whats the ruling...one card says "When a monster is equipped..." the other card says "When your monster is equipped..."...can I equip it to my opponent's monster and get the effect if his monster attacks or not?

2nd card...Tornado Wall...whats the ruling...does it work for only battle damage or battle damage and effect damage? I have two different cards that say different things.

These are what are called "Errata's" which means texts were changed when they were reprinted and are different from the originals to make more sense.

In terms of Fairy Meteor Crush, you CAN equip it to your opponent's monster's and they WILL gain a trample ability, HOWEVER, if they do attack and a DEF monster and do damage, THEY will be the one's to take the damage as YOU are controller of Fairy Meteor Crush and, as the text says, the opponent takes the damage when the equipped monster does damage like that.

In terms of Tornado Wall, it will only stop BATTLE damage to your Lifepoints. It is NOT like Waboku. This means that your monster's will STILL die in battle if they get attacked by monster's with a higher ATK, but you will not take any overflow damage, but effect damage can still be done to your lifepoints with things like Meteor of Destruction.
