It says two diffrent things on the official site... errata says you continually check everything and specific card questions says otherwise... does anyone know the ruling on this?

You only check at specific times when dealing with Deck Devistation Virus. The first time you check is when Deck Devistation Virus resolves. When it resolves, you look at all monsters on your opponent's side of the field (inlcuding those that are face-down) and your opponent's hand. At that time you destroy all Monster Cards which are 1500 ATK or less. From this point on, you do not check the cards on your opponent's side of the field or those in your opponent's hand. Continuing after Deck Devistation Virus resolves, you ONLY check the cards that your opponent draws for the next 3 turns (not pick up) for monsters that are 1500 ATK or less and destroy them. All monsters that your opponent has on the field and has in his/her hand AFTER Deck Devistation Virus resolves are not destroyed (or checked).
