What if you creature swap it after you flip it face up and than you kill it.. does your opponent lose the life or do you? What happens?, and does anyone know any ways to stop the loss of life from it so you only gain? Thanks. :confused:

It goes to your discard, you lose 5000. The only way to stop the lose is if it doesn't go to discard.

Like if you use banisher of light or something?...............................

You could use Barrel Behind the Door. That's 5000 damage to your opponent. or you could use Trap of Board Eraser, but that doesn't do 5000 DAMAGE to your opponent. I hated this combo when my friend used it against me. Also, you could use Des Wombat.

Ummmm... did you forget that barrel and tobe only works on direct damage and immortal is loss of life... :squareeye

OMG, He is so dead. But it doesn't matter because he hasn't used that in a long time, since the pack that it came from came out. I guess Des Wombat wouldn't work either. You could use Compulsory evacuation Device after it's flipped. Or, like you said, Banisher of light should work cause the card says

FLIP: You gain 3000 Life Points. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you lose 5000 Life Points.

Ruling #2 for Barrel Behind the Door (see A-C under Specific Card Questions & Answers):
"Barrel Behind the Door" can only be activated against DAMAGE. It cannot be activated against costs like "Imperial Order" or "Wall of Revealing Light". It cannot be activated against effects that cause you to lose Life Points like "The Immortal of Thunder". It cannot be activated against effects that switch damage, like another "Barrel Behind the Door", because they do not inflict damage, they simply transfer it.

He is correct. The Immortal of Thunder is a rare case of "Loss of Life", which is not Direct Damage.

So the answer is no. Barrel cannot be used on The Immortal of Thunder.
