Hi everyone, i have a question about a situation: let's say i have no monsters in my side and my opponent have 2 monsters face up in his side. I activate United we Stand and target one of my opp monsters. What happens in that case?

a.- The attack of the monster dont change because the United is in my side and count my monsters? or...

b.- The attack of his monster is increased because the monster equipped is in his side of the field and count his monsters?

(Same question about Mage Power, only change monsters for cards)

Choice a is correct.

The target monster will receive a boost based on the field of controller of the equip card. In this case, the monster will not receive 800 Atk points because you have no monsters. If you were to use Mage Power, your opponent's monster would receive a 500 Atk boost
