If a player activates "After the Struggle" during their main phase and during their battle step rams "Pyramid Turtle" into a monster with a higher attack and then summons "Vampire Lord" with that effect, then is only the monster that Pyramid Turtle attacked destroyed or does Vampire Lord go to the graveyard as well? I'm just a little confused on this ruling since many judges give different answers.
Player A: activates "After The Struggle".
Player A: Summons Pyramid Turtle and attacks Player B's monster.
Pyramid Turtle dies in battle, and summons V-Lord.
After damage Calculations, Player B's monster that destroyed Pyramid Turtle in battle dies by the effect of "After The Struggle".
V-Lord remains unaffected.....
...unless of course he attacks and conntect with a monster or the opponent's LP. Then he dies by the effect of After The Struggle, never to return again.
Scenario #2:
Player A: Activates "After The Struggle".
Player A: Summons Pyramid Turtle and attacks Player B's Pyramid Turtle.
Player A and Player B's Pyramid Turtles die in battle. Player B summons V-Lord and Player A summons Pyramid Turtle.
Player A's Pyramid Turtle attacks Player B's V-Lord.
Player A's Pyramid Turtle summons V-Lord.
After Damage Calculations, Player B's V-Lord that destroyed Pyramid Turtle in battle dies by the effect of "After The Struggle".
Player B's V-Lord will be Special Summoned during Player B's next Standby Phase because it was destroyed by an opponent's card effect.

To be honnest I think I would use that card with Phoenix. I mean think about it a second it would make an awesome combo.
main phase one: activate after the struggle followed by summoning pheonix.
Battle phase: Use phoenix to destroy oppenents monster.
End phase:phoenix goes to the graveyard.
opp turn: he/she does their thing your move:
your turn:
Draw phase
Standby phase: (I believe I'm correct on this) Phoenix is special summoned and all spell and trap cards are destroyed.
Correctamundo!
