the controller of this card pays 500 lp during each of his/her standby phases (this is not optional). when this card is specifically designated as a target by the effect of a card controlled by your opponent, when resolving the effect, roll one 6 sided die. if the result is 2 or 5 negate the effect and destroy the opponents card. as long as this card remains on the field, during each standby phase increase the atk of 1 archfiend monster by 1000 points.

did they forget to print "while face up", or can i set this card and still receive her effect?
along the same line, if opponent plays say nobleman of crossout on my set bishop for example, would i get bishops roll to defend itself from this card? would any arch get its roll while face down or can it roll only while face up?

You can't set her and receive the effect. Because she's not faceup. An effect can't activate it self while face down.

If your opponent plays Nobleman of Crossout on your face-down bishop, it gets destroyed. It only works while face-up. Because while facedown they are like any normal card.

game logic says no i couldn't roll for an arch while its face down but its worth asking, especially with queens text. "while face up" is on dozens of cards but not this one. by its text alone (mechanics aside) is suggests that yes, i can use her +1000 atk effect while she is face down. now granted my opponent would know my card but it would be a nice advantage to raise an atk by +1000 with out leaving your lp open for an attack.

i'm just curious if queens text is a typo or not. if it is not, then how would it affect the die roll effect.

No, you cannot activate Infernalqueen's +1000 ATK raise while she is face-down because she is "blank" while face down.

Same reason why you can't activate Tribe, Exiled, Time Wizard, Breaker, etc while they're face down.
