I'm thinking about running this deck in my local tourny next weekend, and looking at the deck. I think it's one of the most COMPLETE Exodia decks I could think of. It's different, it can fast, it can be slow, but either way, it just seems to work.
Monsters: 18
Exodia the Forbidden One
Right Leg of the Forbidden One
Left Leg of the Forbidden One
Right Arm of the Forbidden One
Left Arm of the Forbidden One
Sangan
3x Emissary of the Afterlife
3x Battle Footballer
3x Soul Tiger
2x Labyrinth Wall
Magician of Faith
Spells: 17
Pot of Greed
Graceful Charity
2x Card of Safe Return
2x Level Limit Area-B
3x Messenger of Peace
Swords of Revealing Light
Metamorphosis
Scapegoat
2x Heart of the Underdog
2x Dark Factory of Mass Production
Premature Burial
Monster Reincarnation
Traps: 5
3x Soul Resurrection
Call of the Haunted
Torrential Tribute
Like I said, it's different, but it seems to work. In my testing, which hasn't been much, it hasn't lost yet. Feel free to blast away on the deck though.
Thanks for the R/F, now onto your deck! I love the concept, but I think you may need a few protection cards maybe a Judgment of Anubis? It can protect your Spells, and Traps from being destroyed from cards like MST, and Heavy Storm which are widely played with how many Continuous Spells/Traps you have in your deck it may help protect them and for the discarding effect you can use one of your Normal Monsters that have 1500 ATK it or less and easily retrieve with Dark Factory of Mass Production which is fine since Heart of the Underdog's effect has already activated when you drew the Normal Monster(s).
Why not add a Reload or 2? Once you draw a Normal Monster the effect of Heart of the Underdog wipes away and is ready for more Normal Monsters to be drawn from the deck. Using Reload can reuse Heart of the Underdog's giving you better drawing speed. You may want to infest in a Morphing Jar, Cyber Jar, or a Magical Merchant so you can get those Normal Monster in the Graveyard and Special Summon them and abuse Card of Safe Return's effect and thin out your deck. Don’t worry to much about your Exodia pieces being sent back to the Graveyard they can be easily obtained with Monster Reincarnation, Backup Solider, or Dark Factory of Mass Production. That is one problem though if you do this you probably need to put another Monster Reincarnation in there, and maybe a Backup Solider. Very nice deck though, I would give it an 8/10.
I want to limit the effect monsters in the deck. In my first attempt at this deck, the only effect monster was the head of Exodia, with over 22 monsters in the deck. I traded for the other Emissaries that I needed, threw them and a Sangan in and stopped there. I added Magician of Faith for her effect and having another possible Meta monster. Reload doesn't work for me because 90% of the time, I'll have AT LEAST 2-3 pieces of Exodia in my hand. I want to keep them in my hand, only time I'll even consider putting a piece in the graveyard is when I meta a limb for TER or need the protection. Hence why I don't have Cyber Jar, Morphing Jar and Magical Merchant in the deck. 2 Dark Factories and Monster Reincarnation = all 5 pieces, so that's all I need. I'd like to slap 1 or 2 Magic Jammers in the deck but don't want to take anything out.
