Why don't you drop a V-Lord and My body as a shield and put in Tribe and D.D. Assailant.

thats a possibility. I wanted to keep my V Lord Count to 3 though so I can keep field presence. The problem I have with Tribe is that with sinister gone I spend 2 cards to eliminate 1 monster in most cases. I keep him side decked just in case I run into mono-tribe decks. My Body is a tech vs NoC and Bottomless so that I can keep Phoenix and the V Lords alive. I'll try out the changes though.

Thank you, I'll try that out. My original choice for Exarion was because of his decently high stats and possible trample ability, but with a changing meta DD Assailant and Lady are probably a much more stable choice.

Other than those monsters, are there any opinions on my magic and trap selection? Anyone have any specific opinions about the deck and not so much specific card choices?

magic (cept the 3 book of life fix) lineup is fine..traps....-2 skill drains numerous monsters in ur deck will be useless so i suggest:

- 2 skill drains
+2 Compulsory Evac Device

Actually the only monster that loses its effect is apprentice magician (which I just found out yesterday)

The rest of them (except Magician of faith if she is normally flip summoned) will have their effects activated in the graveyard. Most importantly, with skill drain out, my Phoenix and Vampire Lord will continuously return if they've been destroyed by a card effect, and Pyramid Turtle will still be able to search and thin my deck. The effects I do lose are Vampire Lords Deck elimination and Phoenix's M/T Destruction, but I really don't mind that (especially because the phoenix's MT destruction will suicide my Card of Safe Return)
