No, it's not a beastdown. No, it's not all that cliche and no, it's not Chaos-ish at all.
Here's the breakdown: 3/14/13/10
3 Enraged Muka Muka
3 Giant rat
3 Legendary Jujitsu Master
3 Golem Sentry
2 Magician of Faith
2 Dark Mimic LV1
1 Exiled Force
3 Giant Trunade
2 Messenger of Peace
2 Emergency Provisions
1 Pot of Greed
1 Snatch Steal
1 Nobleman of Crossout
1 Metamorphosis
1 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Fissure
3 Jar of Greed
3 Compulsory Evacuation Device
2 Good Goblin Housekeeping
2 Magic Drain
The purpose of the deck should be obvious, either draw or bounce. The mad drawing is for EMM, and the bounce is so that EMM can get a clear shot, taking over a third of the opponent's LP. My main attacker is obviously EMM, and Giant Rat can tutor out 13/17 monsters. Good Goblin is for shuffling EMMs back to the deck, if I happen to draw them. This deck lacks recursuion for the main reason that if I'm need of reviving something, I'm obviously losing, and even then, this deck's main powerhouse should be powerless to defend me. I'm basically looking to fine-tune this deck with cards that are effective, but won't sacrifice anything from the hand. So, any suggestions? Constructive criticism please, though it's been repeated enough by everyone else on this forum.
I refuse to believe that in a forum "so full of originality," no one has anything to say about this deck. Is it the new trend now? Instead of reviewing decks with only BLS in them, now we only comment on decks that involve Horus, Phoenix, Cyber Dragon, or Vampire Lords?
A bump for every time this gets pushed off the page.
Or maybe just everytime I see a new "original" Horus deck.
Have you at all concidered Thunder Dragon to pump up your hand? I ran it for a while in my Morph Control deck and found it to be very efficient in keeping hand advantage, which is something you're more than likely to want to do in this deck.
Oust Fissure for Smashing Grounds, they can chain scapegoats and save their monster
i'd take out exiled for another crossout...
Jar of greed would probably be more effective as the Thunder Dragons because you thin the deck faster if you draw one.
card destruction should be in here somewhere
I'm not sure if your lack of dark hole is intentional or not, but either way keep it out to maintain your own field presence.
The Thunder Dragons are worth thinking about, though my main concern about them is the whole "wasted deckspace" issue, since Thunder Dragons would be useless for this deck summon-wise. I don't need to get Light/Dark in my graveyard quickly, and I don't think i want to fuse them either... But i'll try it out to see.
Card Destruction would have been in here if there wasn't the whole -1 issue. This is a deck in which hand advantage actually matters because it's the crutch of the EMMs. I'm thinking about TADPOLEs too. So if it turns out I'm running TADPOLEs, I'll throw in Card Destruction.
Because of the new ban list, I've changed my deck around a little...
3 Enraged Muka Muka
3 Giant rat
2 Legendary Jujitsu Master
2 Golem Sentry
2 Dark Mimic LV1
1 Exiled Force
1 Magician of Faith
1 Des Lacooda
1 Chaos Necromancer
3 Giant Trunade
2 Messenger of Peace
2 Emergency Provisions
1 Book of Moon
1 Snatch Steal
1 Nobleman of Crossout
1 Metamorphosis
1 Swords of Revealing Light
1 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Fissure
3 Jar of Greed
3 Compulsory Evacuation Device
2 Good Goblin Housekeeping
2 Magic Drain
It's not a major change, but it's something. I haven't had a chance to try out Thunder Dragons yet, since I couldn't get my hands on any, but when I do, I'll playtest it.
I'm thinking of replacing Chaos Necromancer with a Megarock Dragon (if and when I ever get one) Anyone think that's a good idea?
I agree with your thread I replied on, however common sense was just mainstake.
Anyways, to the deck, I'll try because I respect your opinion, its just not as easy a thing to fix, know what I mean?
-Fissure
+Heavy Storm
While 3 trunades is hellafun, this is making darn sure EMM gets its attack through, if you obscurely dont get 1 of the 3 trunades. You might also want to look at Penguin Soldier. Can return up to two monsters, could benefiet you rather well, with this new format, getting a 2-1 will be deserved.
Thank you, and if you would like to rate my deck, I would greatly appreciate it,
Azurai Aeon
Well, I rarely not get my Trunades, but I'll take out Fissure for the Heavy Storm anyway, since there's apparently a lot of hate for it. Heh. I might even ditch a Giant trunade for another Des Lacooda. Don't know as of yet. Playtesting is in order.
On a side note, this deck isn't hard to build at all...if you're one of those people who've bought boxes and boxes, and a structure deck or 2, this entire deck could be in there... That was actually the first reason I built this deck. Totally random cards in my Box. And a "Hey look, i can pump creature to 3000+ in a turn!"
Anyhow, got off topic, but anyone with more insight?
-1 Chaos Necromancer
I don't see why it is in your deck.
-2 Dark Mimic lv1
-2 Emergency Provisions
-2 Good Goblin Housekeeping
The combo isn't that great with GGHK limmited to 2 per deck. Too slow for your deck.
-1 Fissure
Better Monster Destruction out there.
-3 Compulsory Evacuation Device
Why? I don't see many cards worth of returning to your hand or your opponets.
-2 Magic Drain
Again why? I don't like the fact that your not in control.
Wow that 13 cards to work with.
+1 Darkhole
Monster destruction period.
+1 Scapegoat
Stall and alows you to build card advantage
+1 Mesenger of Peace
More stall. Works well with des lacooda.
+3 Smashing ground
Monster destruction at it's finest. We want direct hits at out opponet. This is an agressive deck.
+2 Des lacooda
Draw power your deck strives on this.
+1 Sangan
Searchers for all of your low attack monsters and keeps hand advantage.
+1 Heavy Storm
Why not.
+1 DD Warrior Lady
Great Card
+1 Premature Burial
+1 Call of the haunted
Resurection is good.
Hmm, I'm trying out Sfair74's ideas now. I changed everything except for -3 Compulsory Evacuation Device and the -2 Magic Drain, I did add in everything except for the 3 Smashing Grounds, the Scapegoat, and the DDWarrior Lady, because I don't have any of those. We'll see how it does anyway. Thanks.
Uhm, as a side note, the Good Goblin Housekeepings were there in the scenario taht i draw 2 or 3 of my EMMs, the "back to the bottom of the deck" dealy sometimes made it easier for me to summon it.
I'm thinking of replacing Chaos Necromancer with a Megarock Dragon (if and when I ever get one) Anyone think that's a good idea?
I wouldnt ditch necromancer for megarock, purely because of how few rock types your running.
If your going for a good replacement use mobius or jinzo/ both are safe bets. Plus
with the lack of s/t removal, its almost a sure thing. If neither of those then definately Airknight.
(edit)
Gigantos the big 1900 guy from i think ioc. He special summons through removal of a earth type. Definately consider him. Hes awesome
I also recomenned ditching metamorphisis, the card isnt that great now that its limited. Replace it with a heavy storm or dark hole. those are more playable that meta, plus theyre great topdecks
This is a long shot, but maybe ditch a compulsary for an embodiment of aphosis?
Hes great tribute fodder for enraged muka muka
