My Beginning, Your End, and the New Age of Renaissance
The time of luck during which even the n00bs could win thanks to
simply drawing a broken hand and a stroke of luck are over. Those are now the
Dark Ages. Now is the time for a Renaissance of sorts, in which only the skilled
win and the rest simply look on in awe.
Alright, alright, enough of the cheesy introduction. I really got tired of having to deal with so many luck-sac draws where a good player could be nixed from Top 8 thanks to poor luck and the opponent, whether having any ability to play the game or not, getting lucky.
The new ban list, a gift from Upperdeck, rids the game of the factors that made the game so dumb for the past 6 months, mostly the trinity of Pot of Greed, Graceful Charity, and Delinquent Duo.
Enough ranting for now. On to the deck!

Before you start jumping all over me about my monster count, let me explain.
The new format is going to be a slow format, and without Pot of Greed and Graceful Charity the deck loses access to drawing into many of its creatures. By increasing the ration of Monsters:Magic/Traps the consistency of the deck is greatly improved.
Aswan Apparition + Drop Off = Mean Lock
