I may need a high ranking judge for this long Ojama question...
OK, I have an Ojama question! It's a long one, so bear with me. I need to know how the following would resolve:
1. My opponent has 2 face up monsters and 2 face down M/T cards (neither of which will stop anything I want to do, just to make this simpler).
2. I have Ojama Yellow on the field, and 3 face down M/T cards: Ultimate Offering, Ojamuscle, and Ojama Delta Hurricane!!!
3. In my hand I have: Ojama Black, Ojama Green, Polymerization, Backup Soldier x2, and Ojamuscle.
4. When my turn starts, I summon Black, activate Ult. Off. And pay 500 Life Points to summon Green, activate Hurricane, then activate Poly to summon Ojama King.
5. I then activate Backup Soldier to bring back Green, Yellow, and Black to my hand, pay 1500 Life Points to summon them all and activate Ojamuscle, pumping the King to 3000 ATK points.
Here comes the question:
*6. If I want bring them back again, do I have to play the Backup Soldier that's in my hand, or does the one on the field still work? I don't know if it would go away after I activate it the first time, or if it would still be there, allowing me to do step 5 again, pumping the King up to 6000.
You lost, me where exactly did you activate the first Backup Soldier from??? your hand??? its a trap.......... or did I miss something.......... anyways, well suppose Backup Soldier was set for 1 turn already, by the time you activate it and fully resolve it (this is when you have added the desired up to 5 monsters to your hand) the effect will disappear and you would need to activate another one to get back the ojamas again.

Okay, I am with you so far, just want to know, did you activate a Backup Soldier from the field, or from your hand? If you activated it from the field, meaning it was set for at least 1 turn, then it would not carry over for another set of monsters. If you activated it from your hand, then we have a small problem.

Help...?
IF you activated the first Backup Soldier legaly, menaing activated it after it was set for a turn, then after that activation and resolution it effect is no longer applied. With that said, if you want to get back more Ojamas, you would have to activate another card(s) to get them back to your hand.
OK, this may sound noobie, but I can't activate a trap on my turn from my hand? It has to be set on the field, then activated on my NEXT turn?
Yes thats the way it is, unless an effect says otherwise, like Makyura or Jetroid (I believe this is the one) which specifically says you can activate from your hand.
Right, Trap cards can never be activated form the hand unless a card effect lets you(Jetroid or Makuyura). any other time the trap card must be set face down for a turn. It does not mean you HAVE to use it during your opponent's turn, you could always just wait for your turn before activating it.
