Ok...here's a debate me and another duelist got into during a local tourney....if the only card on MY side of the feild is a f/d Morhping Jar #2 and my opponent destroys it by battle....does Morphing Jar #2's effect apply to me even though I have no other monsters on the feild?

Morphing Jar #2 does effect doesn't apply to you it only applys to those who have at least one monster. So your opponent has to use Morphing Jar #2's effect while you don't have to worry.

No, Morphing Jar #2 is already considered "destroyed" so it cannot be counted towards its own effect (it's just like how Penguin Soldier, if killed by an attack, cannot select itself to return to someone's hand with its own effect). If you have no other monster's OR only have Tokens than you are not affected by Morphing Jar #2 (since Tokens do not go back to the deck, but simply disappear so they do not count).
