Hey people!!!

my cousin is being a real retard and says that there are no ways to beat blue-eye shining dragon when it's on the field, and i say that there is a way to beat it juts gotta think of it. so i just wanna prove him wrong, so if anyone does know of a way to own blue-eyes shining dragon in the face if it's already on the field, then plz lemme know! :D

Just use any card that doesn't target. There are lots of them.

all i can say is to get an equally strong monster and beef it up via spells,traps,and effects and destroy it in battle

There is a small little card that just cracks me up to see my opponents faces (in cases like this ones with BESD): Ordeal of the Traveler.

I'd find it far more entertaining to use Fairy Box and reduce that 5000+ BESD straight down to 0 and suicide into a flipped MoF or something XDXDXDXD.

Or use DNA Transplant + Water Dragon and make it 0 while giving Water Dragon Scroll of Bewitchment to make it unaffected by its own effect. Then kill BESD for 2800.

LOL! you know I forgot about Fairy Box, that is a unforgettable gift, Needle Ceiling and Needle Wall are other ones excellent to frustate anyone using this monster LOL!

Just running into Widespread Ruin will usually be enough. I've already been in tons of arguements with people who (I let them) brought out Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon with the person saying that Widespread Ruin targets because it says "Destroy 1 monster with the highest ATK among your opponent's Attack Position monsters" on it and he kept saying that "anything that says to destroy a certain number means that it targets".

So I just point out that I don't manually select which monster to destroy when I activate it, but it destroys it of its own free will when it resolves and he just shut up XD.

Aaahh yes the infamous "it targets cause it destroys 1 monster", heard it from Smashing, Fissure, Widespread, man the list goes on and on and on, the same happens to me when I play Pole Position and Emergency Provisions --> tell me Half what are the chances of BESD to be the monster with the highest attack on the field XDXDXD <-- and get the same response, "Pole Position targets because it's just 1 monster"

OMFG THE WHINNING! LOL!

Yep...or something along the lines of "Tribe-Infecting Virus targets because if you're targeting Dragons, then you're targeting ALL of them!!" or something XD

Man, idk how many times last format that I was told that Mirror force wouldn't work when Lord of D. was on the field. I wish it was as simple as mtg, where the general rule is, if it doesn't say "target" on the card, then it doesn't target (barring older cards of course).

Yeah, I remember those things...it was mainly because of how badly cards were written out back then...(of course, that's where errata's come in)...with Lord of D. not saying it only stopped Targeting effects but just Magic, Trap and Monster effects in general. Then Lord of D.'s actual text was put up Upperdecks site where hardly ANYONE ever seems to look for stuff anymore...

Not to mention, until it was errata'ed, Mirror Force said to "Negate the attack" which is usually used for targeting cards...and with the way Lord of D. was people obviously thought it stopped it...even though Mirror Force's complete effect clearly didn't...

What about that good 'ol friend Creature Swap? Make THEM give it to you and you get to give them, say Ameba or something fun like that? 8^D

Only problem there is that you gotta hope the opponent has only BESD on their side and nothing else. Otherwise they could give you that Troop Dragon or Masked Dragon x_x;
