Given Meanae the Thorn a try in place of the two copies of Gravekeeper's Spy.
Five reasons why it might be a good idea:
1. She is a dark/ warrior. This means that she fits in with the Strike Ninja and the Reinforcments.
2. Her effect can trigger multiple times, where as Gravekeeper's spy is a one trick pony.
3. She survives attacks from most monsters in the current Metagame. The fact that almost noone uses 1900 attack monsters anymore may make her even more playable.
4. If one of her falls to removal the second copy can easily pull her back from the graveyard and grant you advantage.
5. She's great fodder for Enemy Controller and she also taunts opponents into falling into a trap of yours be it Sakuretsu Armor, Bottomless Traphole, Torrential Tribute, or just drawing out big monsters for Dark Hole or Snatch Steal.
Please take a look at the deck in my sig entitled 'Can't Stop a Bullet!'
3. She survives attacks from most monsters in the current Metagame. The fact that almost no one uses 1900 attack monsters anymore may make her even more playable.
Yeah, almost no one....(looks at 3 Spear Dragon and 2 Luster Dragon in Main Deck.)
What he's saying about Meanae and her defensive presence is simply this: Whe Gravekeeper's Spy goes off, you'll have 1 (or 2) 2000 DEF monster(s) on the field. If next turn your opponent uses Dark Hole, there goes the usefulness of the Spies until you get Pot of Avarice...With just 1 Meanae, you can search out 1 more from your Deck or bring 1 back from the Graveyard, adding it to your hand just by recoil damage and D.D Assailant sure can't run this girl over...
Then there is the problem of everyone looking to Mystic Swordsman LV2...(looks at Chain Disappearance)
