i made this deck for a local tourney that i VERY rarely win at, and ironically its the same guy who beats me every time, when he isnt there i win and when he is i lose so please help my deck, id like to keep it a beat down but all input and sudgesstions are helpful (usually)

your main problem is your are all over the place with this deck.

you basically have too many dead cards. You are running Three tributes 5 equipment spells and 9 traps (with a jinzo and a decree) three of your level 4 or lower monsters dont fit in this deck. You have no real need for maurading capt. luster dragon, and gemini elf.

If you want to help out your Phoenix I recomend try this out
