okay, i really want to build a Mataza Whack deck but i have no idea where to begin. Could somone please help me lay down the blueprint?

Mataza pros - cons

PROS

1300 ATK
1400 DEF( or so i remember)
searchable by sangan
searchable by RotA
Searchable by tamato
warrior
dark
CAN ATTACK TWICE!!!

CONS

very low attack which means don, DDA, DDS, cyber dragon, and pretty much anything besides a reaper, jar, or sangan in the current meta can kill it

in this type of deck, there are some things you NEED to do to win,

1. attack with an insane amount of damage, and kill them
2. being able to get MtZ at your disposal ASAP
3. KILL THEM BEFORE THEY KILL YOU

now, if you want me to list my versions of a MTZ deck, then ask by PM but for now, i will just list the staples or cards i recomend.

MTZ

you know why he is good in this deck

UWS

with tomato giving you swarm, and an extra 800 per monster, UWS is a must in this deck, that is an extra 1600 points of damage each turn.

AoD

need i say more? powerr mataza up fforr 2000 more damage total

mystic tomato

this is great, gets out another of itself, sangan, reaper, AND MTZ

ROTA

gets your mataza, and others and if you run hayabusa, thats one more monster you can get your hands on.

hayabusa

this is optional, its an extra monster that can take control of the effects of rota, UWS, and axe.

messenger of peace

this card can protect your low level monsters until you get the cards you need.


OR you could go with an MTZ deck that uses ben kei also, OR you could go for a less effective aproach with star shooting bow, and attacking the opponant SLOWLY with small damage while protecting yourself with messenger.

just to let you know, giant trunade is a GREAT CARD it returns swords, messenger, and your equip cards to your hand, AND your opponents facedown threats. comboed with morphing jar, this is a killer asset.

Also you could try gravity bind and Mage power, I think MtZ is a level 3 monster.

Ben kai wouldnt be a bad idea either, if ur gonna have plenty of equips. take a look at my equip deck maybe u can get some ideas.

you are very welcome, and if i were you, mabye take out the maraudings (not to good anymore, and with smashing grounds around, with this cards such low attack, odds are your first turn mataza goes bye bye) and add in mabye gosh, why cant i remember its name?? that captain that powers up warriors by 400 with 1900 DEF, that way your mataza can equal a DDA.

oh, and to the guy who asked what NOC was, please, look it up on search, all you have tto do is type in NOC, NoC, or any good deck and it will probably tell you, this site pays good money for us to have it, and that post right there probably costed this site money. thanks!

I know there's alot of equips in this deck. think about Iron Blacksmith kotetsu to get the one you want a little quicker, I.e. Mage power when your about to kill your opponent.

so maybe i could -2 DDS +2 iron blacksmith? also i want to add a decree and bait doll but i dont know what to lose.

Try, see if this works. Take out one reaper, one axe and one big bang shot, add those cards and then playtest.
