The mistake was taking my eyes off it for five minuits during my local tourny during which time it got stolen, so I've decided that befor I try getting all the cards to rebuild it I'll stick it up here and get some tips.
The A is an impersonal pronoun I used to give the title a little extra jazz.
The reborn is to signifies that I have reconstructed the deck, and have infact been running it for about a month. And its been doing very very well, but I’m still not 100% satisfied,
My centeral problems have been dealing with the aggro nature of todays meta, the deck copes a hall of alot better in slower situations, I still remember how it used to run in the old chaos days (not quite as well as chaos but as close as it gets).
If I get a bad hand (2 necro mabie) I sometimes loose all feild preasance straight away and cant get back into it.
Necrovalley X3
Terraforming X2
Mystical Space Typhoon X1
Dark Hole X1
Nobleman of Crossout X1
Snatch Steal X1
Heavy Storm X2
Card Destruction X1
Nobleman of Extermination X2
Torrental Tribute X1
Dust Tornado X1
Sakuretsu Armor X1
Bottomless Trap Hole X1
Right of Spirit X3
Tributes: 2 Mobuis and 2 Cyber-Dragon have been working great for me, the Mobius are ALLWAYS sommonable since gravekeepers give me so many ways to gain and maintain field presence, Im not a mega cyber dragon fan, but I tested to deck extensively with and without them and with is better. All of my tribute monsters are basicly free, Mouius pays for himself with S/T destruction, Cyber draogns are free and Cheif can jsut bring back another gravekepper.
Monsters: Fairly standerd line up, spirit reapers are to help maintin yet MORE feild preasance, origionally I used to creature spap them accros and trample them but I've abandoned this. Spear soldier is the least versatile of the Gravekeepers so im only running two.
Spells: The only major surprise would be the two nobleman of crossout, origionally just a little tech I tryed out, but has become a critical part of the deck, with me needing to attack alot to utilise my monsters effects (Spear Soldire, Assilant, Magic Circle) and with saks being run in threes all over the place wipeing them all out of the game is fantastic, I even occasionally nuke my own.
Traps: Magic Circle actually got dropped since I have more than enough swarm already, Bottomless and sak are run one each to avoid taking much damage from my own noblemans.
That’s about it. All ratings will of course be returned, All tips will quite possibly be ignored, this deck is like my child, and if someone told you to die your kits hair pink you'd cross them off you list of people to invite for dinner, but I'd still love your oppinions. (Actually I retract taht last bit, you people were very helpful in the reconstruction of this deck, and I made a coupld of your changes)
i see with the 2xheavy storms that you do not use advanced forment (unless you made a mistake typing) so why dont you use cards like impearel order or pot of greed.
First I say lose the extra heavy storm so you can be legal but now it's time for the nity grity.
I would say lose one or maybe both Terraformings and replace them with both Premature Burial and Call of the Haunted because with GK Chief you can now use these while still under Necrovalley. I would also find a way for a second GK Chief so you can have more of a chance of getting one out there.
The other heavy storm is of corse a typo, give me some credit here.
2 chiefs isn't competitive, its rare that they will block each other but it happens.
I'd rather keep the 2 terraforming and be able to easily be albe to negate 2 cards in my opponants deck than to put those 2 into my own deck, gravekeepers have less hand maitanance the the CC so I need to be able to utalise my entire hand.
I know you said that both cybers and mobius is working, but if you take one or two of those you could add in a spirti reape and a donzaloog. Reaper just to annoy people and Zaloog to deck control them by dropping the top two and they can't get it because of Necrovalley.
Reaper is dangerous to run it this deck.
If my opponant manages to snatch one of my spear soldiers of assilants he becomes a liability.
Triming cards off the top of the deck doesn't assist me at all, it may make it so my opponant can't get an important card, but it is jsut as likly to simply make them draw that card a couple of turns early.
5 Tribute is way too much, I suggest using 3 at max. What you want to take out is up to preference, but I really think you should take out 2 of the tribute monsters. Also having 2 Terraforming can really screw up the draw, as it could really get int he way when you need something else. So take out one of those. Make sure to put in either a Call of the Haunted or a Premature Burial to be used in case you don't have Necrovalley out, or if Cheif is in play. Becuase you chose to run only 1 of both Sakuretsu Armor and Botomless Traphole, you are low on monster removal. Try adding a Smashing Ground or two to make up for this. Also use a DD Warrior Lady, DD Assailant, or Exiled Force; each of these monsters are excellent in stalling and killing monsters. In a Gravekeeper deck sometimes stalling is a must; your opponent can really overpower you sometimes, and you just need some time to get your cards together. So Swords of Revealing Light or Messenger of Peace, both work wonders. Card Destruction doesn't help very much in this deck, and could veyr well end up hurting you way more than it helps, take it out. Though GK Guards are useful, running 3 is overkill, take out 1-2.
+ Call of the Haunted/ Premature Burial
+ 1 or 2 Smashing Ground
+ Swords of Revealing Light / Messenger of Peace
+ DD Warrior Lady / DD Assailant / Exiled Force
I disagree about the guard's. those are my favorite gravekeeper's. And I only suggested the reaper's because i faced a gravekeeper's deck that used them very well. Giarc's suggestions were excellent though.
I dont think 5 tributes is too much for the folowing reaons.
1) Cyberdragon when used properly isn't realy a tribute anyway, more a free special summon.
2) With three right of spirit I can gain fiely preasance at more or less any point to make a tribute,
I might consider droping the guards, deffenatly not for exciled force though, a card that sacrifes field preasance for its effect clashes horribly with my deck that spends its time trying to maintain it (That is what I see as the weekness in todays game, people pay WAY to much heed to hand advantage, but all hand advantage realy does is become field preasance later on, and subsiquently cards should be based around how they effact the field and not the hand)
Call and premature are not going in the deck, I tested them extensively and thare not necessary, with 3 right of spirit I have all the reserection I need.
Card destruction is a focal card in the deck.
With necrovally putting the graveyard out of reach, and mine remaing accessable though right of spirit (In case you can't tall I like that card) it generated nice advantge for me. + as you mentioned this decks flaw is that it is slightly more prone to dropping a bad hand than the CC, and Cand destrction can help bail me out.
