Not bad, not bad. It should work all right. It's just... I would have waited 'til the next set. I don't think the D. Heroes have enough support cards or a big enough monster pool just yet.

Of course, this is just version 1 of the D. Hero's until the next set after, which SHOULD have D. Hero Double Guy, D. Hero Defend Guy and D. Hero Dogma Guy.

I'm also curious as to whether or not Edo will use more D. Hero stuff when he tag team's with Judai in episodes 78-79 when they're aired.

Uh... probably? I can't say for sure, since I only watch the dub, but I don't think people drastically change their decktypes from duel to duel (unless they're Mr. I Have Six Decks Misawa), so it's a reasonably sure thing.
BTW, what will the new ones do?

Only got the anime effects for them, but seeing how the card game is, I don't think they'll be changed around TOO much...

D. Hero Double Guy

This card can attack twice during the same Battle Phase. When this monster is destroyed, during your next Standby Phase, Special Summon 2 "Double Guy Tokens" (Dark/Warrior/?/1000/?) to your field in Attack Position.

D. Hero Defend Guy
Dark/Warrior/4/100/2700
As long as this card is on the field in face-up Defense Position, your opponent can draw 1 card from their Deck during their Standby Phase.

D. Hero Dogma Guy
Dark/Warrior/10/3400/2400
This card can only be Normal Summoned by tributing 3 monsters on your field with "D. Hero" in their card name. During your opponent's Standby Phase, reduce your opponent's Life Points by half. (I'm pretty sure he'll have a "This card cannot be Special Summoned" text as well or something)

When a monster that includes "D. Hero" in its card name attacks, if its ATK is lower than the ATK of the attack target, increase the ATK of the attacking monster by 1000 points during damage calculation only.

Yeah, Dark City is pretty much a must with all of these low-ATK monsters. But holy crap, Dogma Guy is powerful. Goddamn ruination of all that lives kind of powerful. Looking at that, I'd wanna run a D. Hero deck, just so I could play Dogma Guy and watch people start crying.
Something I've been wondering, is D. meant to stand for Destiny or Devil? I think it could go either way.

Initially, it's supposed to mean Destiny, but Edo Phoenix also used the words Death and Destroy as well, but it's really just Destiny (hence the card Destiny Signal, just a Hero Signal for D. Hero's of course).

where can i see the effects of the d.heros, i use to like the e. heros until everyone played them but now to see a dark hero mwhhaha wel then now i can fight fire with....water?

They've been put up all over the place and, they're not meant to (nor do they) "counter" E. Hero's. They're more of a separate branch of E. Hero really..

During your 2nd Standby Phase, return the removed monster to its controller's field in the same Battle Position. During the turn you use this effect, you cannot declare an attack.

Hero" in its card name would be destroyed as a result of battle, battle damage to the controller of this card becomes 0. This card's ATK and DEF strength is equal to the total ATK strength of all monsters on your field with "D. Hero" in its card name except this one.

intresting, is there anywhere that i can see the art, a website? I would like o look into these cards more, and clocktower of seclusion might be beneficial to any deck.

Idea808 should have pictures of them there...

Clocktower of Seclusion isn't really that great...not for ANY deck anyways...since chances of it lasting for 4+ turns is pretty slim.
