1. With uria, the card says to send tree face up trap cards. so does this mean that i could send "blast with chain" while it is equiped with a monster to the graveyard?

Uria gains the boost from continous traps but it says to tribute three face up trap cards.

2. since "blast with chain" was destroyed by an effect, can i still destroy one card on the field?

Answering both questions will made my brain stop hurting.

Uria only needs 3 face up trap cards to be summoned. He only gains attack points for each continuous trap cards in the graveyard.

Plus I dont think blast with chain will gets it effect since you actually only sending the cards to the graveyard.

1. Yes, since it does state any sort of Specific Trap to send, you can send Continuous or Equip Traps (or Traps that happen to remain face-up on the field otherwise, like a dead Call of the Haunted).

Though, you cannot chain 3 Trap Cards and then "chain" to summon Uria by sending them.

2. No, it was NOT "destroyed" by a card effect. It was "sent to the Graveyard" as a cost for a Special Summon.

It must be a "card effect" that "destroys" Blast with Chain while it is equipped. Meaning things like Mystical Space Typhoon, Dust Tornado, Heavy Storm, Mobius the Frost Monarch, etc.

Also, keep in mind that Blast with Chain is not a Continuous Trap Card, so Uria will not gain from it being in the Graveyard.

i just thought that was funny hdi, a dead call of the haunted is still a continuous trap :p other than continuous and equip there are no traps that remain face up on the field (you were looking for a trap version of swords of revealing light, that stays on the field only because it says it does. but there aren't any, although if there was they would work too)
