1) Can you resurrect Horus LV6 from the graveyard with the effect of Premature Burial?

2) If so, then is it treated similar to the effect of Jinzo, where as the secondary effect of Premature Burial would be negated since he cannot be affected by the effect of spells while on the field?

horus lv6's continuous effect is only active while he is face-up on the field, so you can summon him with premature burial.

once summoned premature burial would be equipped to horus 6, but wouldn't be doing anything. so if premature burial is destroyed horus would stay on the field.

there's one other thing about that, I don't believe that you can even use premature burial on Horus since he's a level type monster, the only magic card that could revive him would be level modulation

we're dealing with Horus LV6 here, not LV8. it is perfectly legal to revive it with premature burial, the "LV6" doesnt make it a nomi monster.

GK Curse is correct. You need to read the text to find out these things.

There is no rule that says "You cannot revive LV monsters"

Horus 8 and Armed 7 and such aren't able to be revived because the card's text SAYS so. "This monster cannot me normal summoned or set. This monster cannot be special summoned except by the effect of Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6." (or something close to that, it's from memory)

It's not the fact that they're LV monsters. It's that the actual text of Horus 8 and Armed 7 say that they cannot be special summoned except by that one method. Horus 6 doesn't say that, and neither do most of the other LV monsters. It's really just the highest level ones that do that.

READ THE CARD

yeah, its just the level 7/8/10 LV monsters that have that text (except ultimate insect lv7 does NOT have that text). any other lv monster can be normal/special summoned in any appropriate method.

And, a little sidenote, that Horus LV6 does not "negate" anything. (nothing "negates" unless it specifically says so)

yeah, well, i didnt mean "negate" in the literal sense, i just meant making the second effect of Premature Burial useless.

Don't even use the Deckbuilder...just go to the Deck Depot section of the forums...click "New Thread" and type out the Deck there (be sure to keep it organized so people can read it)

but, if broughten out the proper way and then being destroyed, couldnt you bring back Horus Lv. 8 or Armed Dragon Lv. 7 and such with CoTH, Premature Burial, Monster Reborn, etc.?

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6". While this card remains face-up on your side of the field, you can negate the activation and effect of any Spell Cards and destroy them.

Notice the bold part? That means that the only way to special summon it is by the effect of "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6".

You are probably thinking of cards like "Chaos Sorcerer" that have the text This card can only be Special Summoned by...
