hey guys, thanks for reading this thread. There's something i've been wondering and i wonder if u guys can help me out. When i try to attack his monster and he activate magical hats, he chooses 2 dark coffin along with that monster and i attacked his dark coffin. Since i attack his dark coffin, that means it's already face up and i shouldn't have to discard a card/destroy a monster anyway, right? It's only at the end phase that when his other dark coffin gets destroy, i have to choose to either discard a card/destroy a monster option.

And secondly, if he has 3 or more monsters on the field, can he even activate magical hats since he has to laid those 3 cards on the monster zone which he doesn't even have enough space to do so.

1) You are correct - the "Dark Coffin" will be face-up when destroyed, and thus its effect will not be activated.

2) "Magical Hats" cannot be activated if the user does not have three open Monster Zones.
