Ok, potentially stupid question. :ermm: if there are fusion monsters on the field and some one activates penguin soldier's effect and designates a the fusion monsters are they returned to the fusion deck or sent to the grave?
Any input would be very much appreciated.

Also i have a deck posted and anyone could think to rate/fix it that too would be appreciated

fusion monsters can only exist on the field in the graveyard, in the removed from play pile, and in the fusion deck.

anytime an effect attempts to send them to one of those places they will go there normally. if an effect attempts to send them elsewhere (hand or deck) they will be returned to the fusion deck instead.

Fusion Monsters that attempt to return to the hand or Deck are returned to the Fusion Deck.

Fusion Monsters, whenever an effect would "return to your hand" or "return your Deck", will ALWAYS put them back into your Fusion Deck as Fusion Monsters are impossible to add to your Normal Deck or to your hand (unless they make an effect that would let you).

However, if ever destroyed or "sent to the Graveyard", they will still go to the Graveyard like any other monster and if ever removed from play, they still go to the Removed From Play Pile like any other monster.
