Ok, I don't know if anyone has already posted this question or not if so just redirect me there, please. Anyways here it goes if you have a gradius and a gradius's option on the field and activate limiter removal would the gradius's option be at 2400 or 4800?

2400, as the ATK is ALWAYS applied to the selected Gradius

Gradius' Option will ALWAYS ALWAYS have the same attack as Gradius.

thanks y'all, well that kills that idea, but oh well trial and error is essential to the learning process.

Option's ATK will only change in accordance to Gradius' ATK changing. You can't change Option's ATK alone as rulings state.

Equipping "Axe of Despair" to "Gradius' Option" has no purpose. Activating "Reinforcements" targeting "Gradius' Option" serves no purpose. "Luminous Spark" on the field will not change the ATK/DEF of "Gradius' Option". It always has the same ATK/DEF of the selected "Gradius".

In this case, it is, as posted above, 2400 only because Gradius changed to 2400 by Limiter's effect.

which kinda begs people to abuse things like twin swords of flashing light or the shooting star bow with gradius option, since it won't get the negative effects.

And also won't get any benefits, since it doesn't gain any abilities, only a reduced attack...

So it cannot attack twice? Cause now that you mention it I could probably mix in a couple shooting star bows for their effects as well.

I know the ATK and DEF doesn't change unless Gradius changes...I don't see why it wouldn't get the effects though...

hmm then I have a united we stand for gradius and twin swords and shooting star bow for it's options. Man at this rate people may hate me only downside is that i now have to make room for it.

Well, I wouldn't go trying to pack them all into your Deck...

naw:grin:, that would be foolish and would probably hurt my deck more than help it, but it gives me food for thought for cards with stat decreasing like ring of magnitism or other cards of the like to protect my gradius from attacks or card effects.

anyways I would probably side deck them and use them at need
