This a dumb question but i want to know. Please don't yell at me.
1. Lets say i have a continous trap on the field for three turns. Jinzo is then summoned and he negates that trap. when jinzo is removed from the field does that continous trap start working again?
2. Will the trap stay on the field if it is negated?
Some cards, like "Embodiment of Apophis", once negated, are not restored to their effects after "Jinzo" leaves the field.
However, cards like "Mask of Restrict" have effects as long as they are face-up and the field and not negated, so if you Special Summon "Jinzo" to the field and then it is destroyed, "Mask of Restrict" will be in effect again.
OK, thanks. My question is anwsered so no more posting.
Thank you.
You guys can keep posting. I only said that because i don't like people who say i'm dumb or make dumb questions. I said nicely not to yell at me. So everyone be nice and respect other people.

1. Yes, but as mentioned above, there ARE some exceptions. Couple examples like...
Embodiment of Apophis (returns to your Magic & Trap Zone, but does NOT return as a monster/Trap when Jinzo/Royal Decree leaves the field)
Call of the Haunted (Even if it gets destroyed after Jinzo leaves the field, the ENTIRE effect was negated and thus, the "connection" with the monster it Special Summoned has been broken, so the monster will not be destroyed)
2. In most cases, yes. However, again, there are some exceptions. Couple examples like...
Traps that turn themselves into Equip Cards will take on the same properties as any Equipment Card. If the equipped monster were be flipped face-down or leave the field in any way, the equip card destroys itself by game mechanics and goes to the Graveyard (or removed if some effect makes it)
Call of the Haunted, if negated by Jinzo/Royal Decree, like above, had its entire effect negated. Even if the Special Summoned monster is "destroyed" somehow, Call of the Haunted WILL sit in your Magic & Trap Zone meaninglessly until it gets removed.
Shadow Spell will still destroy itself if the targeted monster is flipped face-down, destroyed or removed from the field, even if negated.
Spellbinding Circle will still destroy itself if the targeted monster is destroyed.
Nightmare Wheel will destroy itself if the targeted monster is removed from the field.
HDI, how did you determine that Shadow Spell will destroy itself if the monster is flipped face down? That's not in the card text. I would have assumed that it's effect of modifying the ATK would be lost... ala Lone Wolf and Monk Fighter. But, you know more about this game than me so I'd like to know your reasoning.

Shadow Spell should react much the same as Call of the Haunted as they have the same text line.
A flipped face-down monster will not destroy Shadow Spell, and it will remain meaninglessly on the field.
