hi, if i attack you with Gaia the soul combustible collective with begone knave! on the feild... does he go to my hand or to the graveyard at the end of my turn??? they both say "at the end of your turn" so which one works.. assuming the trap and monster were both played at the begining of the turn so chaining doesnt effect it... or atleast i dont think it would)

I see why not he would return to your hand.

Considering the ruling stating that Begone, Knave! can use the chain...then I would have to say that...given Gaia Soul is a mandatory effect while face-up on the field (unless Skill Drain is active)...then Gaia Soul would attempt to destroy itself and then Begone, Knave! would be Chain Link 2, so would end up resolving first thus bouncing Gaia Soul back to your hand and since Gaia Soul is no longer face-up on the field, it cannot destroy itself...

This is the current text on "Begone, Knave!"

If a monster inflicts Battle Damage to a player, return the monster to its owner's hand.

At no point on it does it say End Phase. Thus, After inflicting damage to your opponent, "Begone, Knave!" will trigger and send the monster back to your hand.
