I know this sounds stupid but can someone tell me the answer to this question. If I activate royal decree and my opponent chains royal decree would they negate each other or would my opponents negate mine because his was chained therefore the effect activated before mine. Thanks for any replys.

Player A: Activates Royal Decree.

Player B: Chains Royal Decree.

Player B's Royal Decree will activate first negating other Traps. Player A's Royal Decree cannot take effect because a Royal Decree is already negating it.

Ok. Just wondering because I was considering running 1 or...3. lol. I guess that means this tread in closed.

It's somewhat of a waste to activate a Second Royal Decree in a chain to the first. They might as well let it resolve since they really only accomplished placing the same effect face-up on the field, unless they also chain Dust Tornado or MST to destroy yours.

But they have control of the card which changes a lot.
