i was just wondering, if i were to go to say... nationals with my regular deck and then pull out a 5 foot tall fusion deck with 3 copies of every fusion in the game and stack it up on the table... would that be legal or would a judge find some way to not allow it.. i mean its allowed in the game right? of course assuming that i wouldnt have 3 of the banned and restricted cards.....
and dont tell me im spamming because i am dead serious and would like to know what would happen in the situation
There is no limit to the Fusion Deck anymore...it used to be limited to 20 different Fusions...
However, it IS expected that you would have a reasonable size for the Fusion Deck...having a HUGE Fusion Deck like the one you speak of...last I heard, you could get into some problems if you did something like that...(cause of wasting time having to go through the WHOLE Fusion Deck to make sure you're using all legal cards and following the lists and making sure you're not trying to slip in other cards and such)

First, we currently only have 71 Fusion's in the game, so I hardly see you being able to create a 5 ft high stack of no more than 211 Fusion's (Thousand-Eye's Restrict limited to one, or else it would be 213), and secondly, considering most standard Deck Boxes are able to hold 50-100 cards "comfortably", you would basically have a stack of no more than 4 Deck Boxes high of Fusion's, which would be no higher than a foot and a half, at most.
Good exaggeration though. I'm more than sure you would be able to find room on the table.
Also, taking into account that most of the Fusion's arent necessarily usable unless you have AT LEAST one of the pieces of the material to summon them, that further reduces the amount you would really need to carry, since quite a few of them are "Fusion Summon Except By" and can only be summoned by their text.
So, a exercise in a little common sense doesnt hurt. Why bring a stack of useless Fusions to National's, when you know there arent going to be 90% of the monsters available to properly Fusion Summon a Elemental Hero Fusion, XYZ Fusion's, or Dark Paladin?
Not like anyone...contrary to popular belief...uses it or even sidedecks it...
I actually sided it in against a guy who (stupidly enough) had a two-box fusion deck. Sadly, I never got to attack with it. Beat him before I ever got to :(
I still have a pair lingering in some random deck's side-deck
