If so, what would you do with a copy of black pendant who's title read Jowgen the spiritualist ?
A.Would you be able to use it ?
B.When you use it, does it count as a jowgen or a black pendant ?
C.If you can't use it, can you send it in to get a valid copy of the card ?
1.) As long as it is still completely legit (like...the only mistake being the misprinting, but still has things like the correct backside, holo sticker and such)
2.) I guess it would depend on the type of misprint...if it's a Black Pendant pictures with the Magic Card background and effect, then it'd be Black Pendant. If it was Jowgen the Spiritualist's effect and name with Black Pendant's picture and Magic Card background...I'd go with calling it Jowgen...(then again, if it was that messed up, I'd keep it in a case or send it in)
3.) Yes, but it's more fun to keep the misprint XD
Really the only time it would really affect gameplay would be if your opponent uses cards like Dark Designator. Other than that, if you follow the advice of the other guys you should be fine. If you ever do have a ruling question, make sure the judge knows the situation with the card too.
Yep..any card that would ask for a certain name...Dark Designator, D. D. Designator...Mind Crush...Great Phantom Thief...same thing if the misprint shows a different Attribute and something like Abyssal Designator or something is used.
It doesn't really affect gameplay, though. You still act like the card is the actual card it is, just like you act like "A Legendary Ocean" is really "Umi".
Well the two I have are totally legit, I pulled them out of a pack myself
I personally don't find them that cool, so if anyone knows people who are into these things, I'd be happy to unload them for a better card.

Trading is of more value to me. I prefer to keep the money I aliquot for this hobby reserved for that hobby. Having just graduated and with a baby underway in february, its not like I can side as much money into this as I like anymore, so good trading deals are always more valuable :p

As long as it is easily determinable what card the misprint actually is, then that is the card it is treated as. If it's totally a Black Pendant in every way except for the name, it's still a Black Pendant.
If, however, the card is ridiculously misprint like in your example, I would rule that card not playable in sanctioned events because it is not easily determinable what card it actually is.
Yes...there are such cards that can be misprinted in such ways...that's why they're rarer and can cost more than normal misprints that just have a missing name or something...

Actually, in an example like the one you quoted I'd say go with what the serial number at the bottom of the card corresponds with. If it has the number of Black Pendant, go with that, if it has the number of Jowgen the Spiritualist, then go with that. My opinion on that situation.
