Most of the deck is pretty self-explanatory. Give comments/rates/whatever you feel like. I'll be gone for the next week or so, but if you leave me a link I'll rate your decks and such when I get back.

If this card is destroyed by an effect and sent to the graveyard, select 1 level 4 or lower dinosaur-type monster from your deck and special summon it.

By the looks of the wording, Black Ptera will work and babycerasaurus will not. So, until told otherwise, babycerasaurus is out.

Well, I think its a tad risky, even with Nimble and Secret Barrel. So how about finding space for 3x Mysterious Puppeteer? That way you summon it, and then use Offering WITHOUT PAYING. Well, functionally. You can -2 Jar of Greed +2 RotA as well I suppose.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you increase your lifepoints with mysterious puppeteer when your [i]opponent[i] normal summons or flip summons a monster?

And why RotA? I'm not running any warriors...

The second TCS is really a "just in case" kind of thing... if i lose one i have very little ways to get it back from the graveyard, so i just put in a second. Also, 5 ways to access one piece of the combo is still better than 4...

I thought about (and am still considering) elemental searchers... I just don't like Baby Ceratosaurus because it has to be destroyed by effect. Battle happens more often. Flying Kamikare was in my original write-out, but I don't really have the space (or need) for it.

Mysterious Puppeteer increases your life points by 500 whenever either player summons a monster.

RotA would be for Mysterious Puppeteer.

I'm going to recommend putting in Baby Ceratosaurus in multiples. I'm assuming that being tributed for Cannon Soldier counts as an effect. We'll have to wait for the rulings on it, but if it counts, put in it.

Updated the deck to incorprate Puppeteer and Ceratosaurus. Also put in solemns, since conserving LP is no longer an issue.

The latest translation I saw of Dark Ptera led me to believe that the OTK doesn't work, but I guess we'll have to wait to know for sure.

I've seen different translations for it, but my friends(who play OCG) said it was legal in Japan. Metagame also did an article on Ptera, and although they never really stated it's text the article mentioned this combo, which leads me to believe it will work this way.

Even if it does work, theres a good chance UDE will go and kill it right away. They really hate OTKs.

I can only hope...

I think another Ptera is called for here, in my opinion.

I know what it's like for UDE to screw your deck, my Rescue Cat OTK! Cut Last Will down to one my behind!

Well, Dark Ptera is very searchable in my mind (2 ceratosaurus's, sangan, last will), but I may try adding a third Ptera. I won't do much testing until PotD actually comes out, and we know if this combo is legal or not.


UDE killed my Cat OTK, Jar OTK, and basically made DMoC OTK unplayable. I love OTK's, but I've never been much of a fan of Stein, and that seems to be the only OTK they like(or atleast don't hate). I love both cannon soldier and ultimate offering, so I really hope they don't kill this deck idea.



Anyways.. more for fixing me own deck... I'm thinking -solemns +upstart G's.

i don't know what some of these cards do, because i havn't bothered to look at the new set, so i can't help you deck any....sorry

ok ummm i would say ya have atleast 2 too many traps. i find that if i run more then 7 traps then the deck dont run good for me so to replace them i would add in 2 Baby Ceratosaurus. and for the rating im gonna rate it a 7/10

Also add the spell card "monster cannon" (forgot the name). By tributing a monster on the field inflict 400lp damage to your opponent.
