I liked some of the ideas from the recent posts and some of them did make sense and so, I'm narrowing down to my final cut for the deck which I will carry to the Regional this coming weekend. This list isn't set in stone but this will likely be the build.....

I decided to jump back a bit to a successful build I once had and made a few changes to it. It may look insane due to 3 copies of Controller but, trust me: It works...

The Side Deck is just insane gawdly, giving me multiple options on which way to manipulate a plan for victory...or just to have an ace in the hole.

As always, R/F, give comments, and all that good stuff....I got a week to work on this....

although i do like the 3 smashings i was thing that you might want to drop one for lightning vortex. two reasons: one is for another mass removal if you need it. second, is for the discarding of night assailant. granted those are not great reasons for using vortex but it is what comes to mind.

i would stay away from stamping destruction only because i like the idea of royal decree. horus and royal decree go hand n' hand. i would even consider droping both s. armors for another decree and e. controller.

granted these are all personal thoughts and opinions. i don't know what your prefer or what you meta game is like.

I think you should take out Pot of Avarice. You don't have enough easy ways to get monsters into the graveyard, and taking it out will put you down to a nice fourty cards.

+ 2 my body as my shield

- 1 dust
- 1 sak

+ 2 decree

Not exactly....Horus & Decree is a good combo but that combo can be easily broken due to the main monster removal in the game now (DDWL, Chaos Sorcerer, Zaborg, etc) The Vortex idea is still floating around in my head since this is an "almost final cut....

Pot of Avarice hasn't been a problem to me at any time. Even as I have low defenders, the Graveyard fills up easily for me to use Pot of Avarice especially whenever I feel like dumping the LV8 off of a Charity. Sorry, PoA is working too well right now...

-1 Night Assailant(to bring it to a slim, trim 40 cards)

It just confused me when looking at the decklist, why's it in here? If you have a good reason that i'm missing, then just overlook my stupidity.

My Body as a Shield is okay but it can't be activated in Damage Step and doesn't stop removal effects from Sorcerer and DDWL. It will likely stop Torrential and/or 1 Zaborg for a cost of 1500 LP. Too risky......

And on that subject (as well as repeating myself from another post), there will likely be netdecked version of the decks that were ran at the Indy SJC with Decree being in pairs in opponent decks. So should I run the risk of adding in 2x Decree when they'll likely be dead draws when my opponent has 1 active already??

I had questioned Night Assailant being in the deck at the beginning as it is a turn slower than Exiled Force but there are many factors I can work with on it as it serves as a floater (and +1 when Flip Summoned) where with Exiled, its use and be done with it. Also, I may just try and see how well Vortex would work out in the deck (either Main or Side) and also, I may just try out Banisher of the Radiance as well since that's a card I have yet to work with...

Here are my suggestions Phenom:

- Night Assailant
+ Twin Headed Behemoth/Exiled Force

You have enough monster removal, and even if you dont believe so, he isnt needed. THB is sortof like a Treeborn Frog for Dragons, except only once...nevermind, but still use him :). Or like you said, Exiled Force is faster.

- Sakuretsu Armor x2
+ Bottomless trap Hole x2

Its just a suggestion. I would recommend trying it out, some decks work better with Sak, and some with BTH. Give I try. :)
