Horus is back with a vengence........
all will bow before him....
and tremble in his wake.......
MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!
Now that Chaos is gone (YAY!!!! thank you Konami!!!!!!!)
I think I can safely say that I have the fastest horus deck. I have been working on this particular version of the deck since a little while before TLM. Although i have had other versions of this deck, this one is, (as afore mentioned) the fastest, most reliable, and mostcrushing version to date. I want everyone's opinions/rates and I hope you all like it. I think I may finally have it!!!

please leave a rating!!!!!!!!
I do question the high Spell count however. I'm glad to see someone other than me running Pot of Avarice in a Horus based build but I question the use of the Magical Mallet. The trap lineup is good (I'm guessing you either don't have or don't need Mirror Force) it's just the high Spell count that puzzles me, I would replace a few of those Spells for a bit more monster presence...
8.8/10 - If you want, feel free to check out the Dragon Control deck that I'll be working with at an upcoming Regionals: "Illusion Rush Control"

It's actually a mixture of both: I don't have, and don't need a Mirror Force (though that may change). and the issue of high spell count has come up as well by others. that and not wanting and Lv.8's in my hand, are the reasons that I put in the Mallets. I would like to cut them down, but I don't want to get too monster heavy. Any suggestions on the monsters I should add. I was thinking 2 Goblin Elite Attack Force, for good aggro against my opponents Cyber Dragons, and still have some defense. and ye, I run Avarice in multiple decks. they are especially good w/recruiters, and re-using any other good things. I thank you and appreciate your r/f, and I'm now headed over to you deck.
peace out
Kenneth
I think you could really use Nobleman of Crossout. Even two copies. Take out Enemy Controller or Magical Mallet for them.
I was thinking that also, but didn't know what to take out... especially since there are a lot of ppl playing MOF, and a lot of other flips that screw me up...
I actually had one in there, but replaced it cuz I was top-decking it when I didn't need it... but times have changed, and I think I may need to put it back in.
thanks for the comment
peace out
Kenneth
-1 giant trunade
+1 heavy storm
-1 magical mallet
+1 nobleman of crossout
looks good 9/10
please rate mine thanks !!
I think that this is the keeper! I appreciate the fix, and the rate especially... I think I'm gonna do that for the tourney Saturday.
thanx
peace out Kenneth
r/f my other deck at:http://www.yugiohrealms.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=459916
The only thing that concerns me is your statement about having Horus 8 out on the first turn so many times.
I've run Horus myself and I know someone who has much more than I have, and I think it's safe to say that you don't WANT Horus 8 out on the first turn. On the first turn, your opponent has every answer still available to them, whether it's in their hand or in their deck.
The best time to get Horus 8 out is mid-game after they've already used up things like Tsukuyomi, Exiled Force and DD Warrior Lady. Once those are gone, THEN get Horus 8 out, because by that time they'll have no way to get rid of it.
The best Horus deck I made was right after CED got banned but BLS was still around. It was a beatdown Horus where I loaded up on Berserk Gorillas, had an Injection Fairy Lily, a couple of Kycoos, etc. Those monsters gave them so much other stuff to worry about early game that they had to waste their answers on those cards. Then I dropped down Horus and they had nothing left.

I understand what you are saying, and it is absolutely correct. It does screw me over, but in this deck, my goal is to overpower them before they get a chance to clear my field. Although getting Lv.8 out on the first turn is not very good in some cases, the good cases far out weigh the bad ones. I don't think I fegret having it out on the first time, and if I lose b/c of it, I'll figure out ways to get around it. I thank you for your comment, and I would like to know if you could rate it, or throw me some suggestions?
thanks again.
peace out,
Kenneth
I tend to find running exiled force in tribute heavy decks like this one to be very difficult. exiled is a exchange of presense and rarely does it hold it on it's own. cyber dragon often seems confounded to me at least when I try 3 cybers. It magnifys the minimal condition to summon it into a problem. some people have trouble grasping this next thing: jinzo does'nt just replace decree while he's on the field he disables it completely. It's not a light switch, the decree does'nt turn back on.
+1 gravekeepers guard
+1 Night assailant
+1 Mobius the frost monarch
+1 tsukuyomi
These 4 monsters accomplish different goals to help you out. mobius now replaces Jinzo to assist your own decrees. gravekeepers guard allows your spys a extra target while continueing to maintain field presense. new flip effects with tsukuyomi and Night assailant not only gives synergy to flip effects but fills in as a removal tool like exiled force as well.
8.8/10 This system should work and I hope you see how decree +Jinzo does'nt mix.

I understand everything you are saying, and mostly agree. the only thing is the removing jinzo thing. since I'm only running 2 Decrees, I often have jinzo, and no decree, and he ends up winning the game... and yes, he has screwed me up a few times, but he has helped me a lot more. Since I asked for advice, I'm gonna take it... I don't have tooo much of an emotional attachment to my beloved Jinzo ..::tear::..
lol
thanx again...
