The 3 book of lifes and 2 call of the mummy's is overkill i admit. Havn't ever drawn into the nephthys pair in the 8 test matches i have done so i dont know how well that works. Help for the fusion deck would be appreciated aswell.

Thats a quick fix, I didnt really go into depth on the reasonings for each move but im sure when you play with it you will see the difference.

I'd say vampire lords would be overkill, i already have 4 tribute monsters, minus patrician of darkness (5 if you include hand of nephthys' effect)

Fear from the darks for Regenerating mummies is a good idea.

Vampire Lords and Ryu Kokki's are not sacrifices, they come out with a pyramid turtle

Even still, they can't be guaranteed to enter play that way. Bad top decks and the like.

ok look at it this way, whether you have a pyramid turtle out or call of the mummy, they are not tribute monsters in a zombie deck. Book of Lifes just add to the ease or bringing them to the field.

ok, just wondering whether vampire lord is worth it over patrician in this format. Cyber Dragon has too much of an edge over vampire lord whereas patrician can redirect cyber dragon's attacks (to a spirit reaper/ f/d flip monster/ monster with higher attack)

if your scared of dragon, just use 1 vlord and 1 dust spirit. Spirit works really well with call of the mummy

Okay, blueeyspoizon, you do know that Dark Dust Spirit acnnot be special summoned in anyway, right? NOt sayin that DDS is bad in a zombie deck.

Ventriloquist, test out Royal Keeper. It works really well in my wife's zombie deck. And 2 Kokki's and 2 V Lords are not that bad. I think I will post her Zombie deck aafter our Tourney on Sunday.

You can do without those Cyber Dragons. Treeborn Frog and spirit reaper are much better choices. other than that, good deck.

i meant dark dust spirit works well with call of the mummy because it normally leaves your field clear to special summon a different zombie

with your current deck, these are my recommended changes....

-1 Book of Life
-2 Call of the Mummy
-1 Confiscation
-1 Metamorphosis
-1 Smashing Ground

Reason behind these recommended changes...

Book of life and Call of the mummy: You're not running that many high level Zombies, so it's just clogging your deck. With 3 turtles, a treeborn, and reaper, you have enough way to get your zombies out

Meta and Confiscation: Doesn't snynergize with your deck. Also, since you don't know what you want to do with your fusion deck, there's no need for Meta.

Smashing ground: Personal opinion. I think 2 is perfect; 3 is too much.


Here are my recommended additions:

+1 MST
+1 Brain Control
+1 Last Will
+1 Monster Reincarnation
+2 Enemy Controller


MST and Brain Control: You need them. nuff said.

Last Will and Monster Reincarnation: Will brings out you low level support monsters out faster. Monster is better in this deck than Pot of Avarice because you will only need to retreive a few monsters at best. Plus, You generally want to leave your graveyard alone to use your revival magic.

Enemy Controller: Lets you abuse frog when you have him out. Can used defensively if you have to.
