I was browsing netrep and this sight to find the answer to a power bond question. But alas it did not reveal anything and I am left to ask Can XYZ monster's be brought out by power bond? I say no but I have played people where they say you can. So please give me a straight yes or no answer please.
The unique VWXYZ and Neos Fusions cannot be brought by any actual Fusion Method. They can only be brought by the effects printed on the Fusion Monster themself. Basically, they're like any Special Summon-only monster.

Half and Joker are pretty much right, and like Half would probably say "read the text on the card" can't say much else, I wish you could, I really do wish that you could use powerbond on them, but that's not the case, you could probably use de-fusion on the v-z series though
"De-Fusion" will only Special Summon the Fusion Materials that were used in the Fusion Summon of the selected Fusion Monster.
Since the VWXYZ series of Fusion Monsters are not Fusion Summoned, you will not be able to Special Summon anything (though you can still use "De-Fusion" to return one of them to your Fusion Deck).
actually defusion wouldnt work anyways because the pieces are removed to special summon the vwxyz series cards unless im mistaken which i may be
It doesn't work either way...they are removed from play AND never used to Fusion Summon anything...not being used in a Fusion Summon pretty much cuts out any other possible reason really...
De-Fusion does work, just like Kenjiblade stated. De-Fusion will ALWAYS work on a Fusion Monster. Just because it does not get Fusion Summoned, doesnt mean it isnt a Fusion.
You just dont get to summon the Materials used in the Special Summon, but as long as the card is "Purple" and can be affected by Spell Cards, it CAN be affected by De-Fusion, and the Fusion Monster will return to the Fusion Deck.
