Well thats the deck. Any one got anything that I can change to get it tournament ready?
I think you are going to have a lot of problems with an Advanced Format tournament. The going meta (overarching deck style) is favoring very fast decks which will clear your field and attack for 1500-4000 at any given turn.
the deck you have going right now will take a little bit of time to build up enough resources to summon Raviel, for one. Even without Raviel, there are some things that will cause you problems.
I have to go to sleep right now *super sick*, but search up the member Dillie-O and follow the link in his sig. Ill be there tomorrow and there are some Fienders there right now. You should be able to get some more specific advice from there.
Just remember that foremost: have fun at your tournament. :)
Since Raviel is one of my absolute favorite fiends in the game, I'll do my best:
The key to use Raviel successfully is to swarm the field with fiends really fast.
Some of the best ways to get 3 fiends on the field include:
1.) Dark Necrofear + Dimension Fusion or Return from the Different Dimension
This one's pretty easy to do. After summoning Necrofear, you'll have at least 3 fiends removed from the game (perhaps your opponent also "helped" you with Bottomless Trap Holes or D.D. monsters). That's enough tribute fodder once you return them back to the field.
2.) Inferno Reckless Summon + any special summon outside the damage step + weenie fiends
Another one of my favorites. Some of the best fiends to use with 1500 or less ATK are Newdoria, Dark Jeroid, Giant Germ, Goblin King and Dark Mimic Lv 1 or Lv3.
3.) Giant Germs + any other fiend
Simple to do, but it relies on your opponent attacking the germ, so it won't always work. You'll have 2 other Germs as soon as your opponent attacked it, so all you have to do is normal summon another fiend and then instantly tribute them all away.
4.) Statue of the Wicked+ any removal (hopefully your opponents)
It creates a fiend token with 1000 ATK and DEF as soon as it's destroyed, which gives nice tribute fodder. But since it relies on destruction, it's kinda slow and unreliable. Not a bad side deck choice, though. If you run into an opponent who runs 3 Mobius (which isn't even that uncommon), these can sure come in handy.
5.) Dark World swarm
This one obviously needs a dedicated Dark World deck to work, but seeing as Dark World swarms the field really fast, summoning Raviel shouldn't be that hard to do here.
Try to incorporate some of these strategies into your deck, then you should get a nice start with your Raviel deck. Nomi monsters aren't easy to handle, mind you, so it's always possible that you'll lose because the Raviels become dead draws and clog up your hand. Just keep practicing a lot.
