If "D.D. Scout Plane" is destroyed by "Lesser Fiend", "D.D. Scout Plane"'s effect activates and it is Special Summoned even if "Dark Ruler Ha Des" was also in play when it was destroyed.
Thats the closest ruling I could get. So according to that they would be.
That is not a proper ruling because that is talking about Lesser Fiend's effect of removing from play in conjunction with Dark Ruler Ha Des being face-up on the field.
In normal circumstances, Antique Gear Beast WILL negate D. D. Survivor and D. D. Scout Plane if they get destroyed by it as a result of battle.

Actually the ruling does fit for this person's question because it's the same situation with the same type of effects.
You have a monster that negates the effects of monsters it kills in battle. You have D.D. Scout Plane and Survivior. You have a card that sends cards that are used to the remove from play pile.
The ruling is proper and is the correct one to look in this scenario.

Maybe its just me, but I dont really see any difference. ALL Fiends that are controlled by the owner of Dark Ruler Ha Des will have basically the same effect, to include whatever their own effect is, so it shouldnt really matter that Lesser Fiend destroyed D.D. Survivor.
Lesser Fiend specifically removes though...not all Fiends do that o_O
But that isnt what we are getting at. We are saying that Lesser Fiend, because of Ha Des, can negate effects AND remove monsters from play. That would be the equivalent of Ancient Gear Beast and Macro Cosmos.
yes, and what the ruling for Lesser Fiend+Ha Des vs DDScout Plane shows is that being removed from play, directly or indirectly, erases the "connection"* that the negation effect had on the destroyed monster.
*(sorry. I use "connection" for lack of a better phrasing)
Lesser Fiend by itself or in conjunction with Dark Ruler will not hinder the effect of Scout Plane or Survivor.
I guess what it shows is that the negation is limited to covering monsters that were sent to the Graveyard.
I thought so, but went with the other ruling since I wasn't sure. I still beat the guy, but wanted to get a ruling before it happens in a real tourny. I was in YVD. Thanks again to all.
It must be due to the delayed effect of the cards since they do not come back untill the end of the turn. I would have said no but the lesser fiend situation is the same sort of thing so they must come back.
So what makes it so it comes back? Theres no mention of the graveyard in Gear Beast's effect a card that is destroyed as a result of battle and then removed is still destroyed isn't it?
Because of the fact that another effect is removing them play...either that or it's because Konami says so...obviously Ha Des and Lesser Fiend show a little bit...
