Anyone going to the pre release? Im personally broke due to a job change, plus im going to go to a convention in Detroit instead. Post your prerelease stories, or how you stayed home all weekend and played zelda.

Thatr was what I got, wile in overall a pretty good draft, it is totally not something you want at a pre-release tournament I had the worst draft of all and there were two persons with really good drafts...

1.) Force Bubble, and Dragon Form

2.) Forgotten Ancient, Eternal Dragon, Ancient ooze, and a lot of good elves.

so I had the worst draft, with no real deck base (I went with green as a main color).....
I might have had strong cards like Day of the Dragons, Dragon Roost, and Dragon Tyrant but all of those arent cards you want to draw at a pre-release....

so I made my deck the following

well and I'm actually not ashamed to say that I went last, and that I noticed I made some mistakes, one of the cards that should've been in there was Unburden and I should've used White instead of Red now I have taken a second look at the cards I have drawn, but still I had no main deck and with that no real chance to become a chalange, and I went last with all the good main deck drafts and the good players in there, well the good point in getting last is that I got a Comfort Prize, another booster were I pulled...

Its hard to tell without physical cards infront of me but i probally would have played R/U/B, because roost and call are both bombs. I wouldnt have played upwelling, here, or ever. So you made the right choice there.

to look at the cards you dont know you can enter the name in the card search, the link is in my Signature,

and about Dragon roost, he might be powerful but he isnt going to make it in 3 colour Pre-release, and I still think I should've played white instead of red....you're right about the Call to the Grave tho, too bad my card drawing wasnt too good and I got it in late-game each time so the opponent had plenty of creatures to last for a wile....

and I was talking about unburden, its a black Instant that lets a "target player" discard two cards from his or her hand AND it has cycling...

I am very happy with my pulls. I did'nt get anything or see anything in Scourge that will really go into, or help, my current decks. But I did take a part my 250 and re-do it into a zombie/cleric/elf/wizard/goblin deck useing alot of the new cards i got. Fun set
