I've recently been facing a few mill decks and found where their weakness lies, SPIRIT ENERGY. Find a way to deny them spirit, such as SURRENDER, and they won't be able to make you mill as much on their turn. However, you need to look out for cards such as uncontrollable power. Most likely, you'll need to halt these as often as possible. Then atttack fast and hard whenever possible. There's more cards you can use in combo with SURRENDER, but I think I'll keep those to myself for now.

You should also know that most people who play mill decks have probably read this already and are probably going to to use cards like BANG to take care of this little problem; so my suggestion is for you to pull off something like SURRENDER before your opponent takes care of it.

The reason I've posted this is because, like everyone else, I'm tired of seeing decks like Roku., Uratogi, and Scatter Shot dominating the play scene. Instead of complaining though, I've been studying these deck's weaknesses and finding ways to counter them. Before North and South Regionals are over, I would like to see a different type of deck like Toguro place in the top four.

Sure, the fastest way to beat ANY deck is to drain their spirit energy and hit hard, but what stops mill decks the best is Stand Off and Angelic Embrace.

uratogi???dont u mean mukuro. uratogi is the anti decking deck i think or doesnt everyone have kenko in the line up. uratogi i use agianst mukuro and roku because u cant do anything with out cards in your hand so i shut them down. its actually has alot of flaws though so im working them out. decking decks have diffrent strats. so u cant base 2 cards on them.

I recently made an anti-deck out deck. It can't be decked first round, nor any other rounds after that. I bet it could possibly take north realms and south realms by storm. Not going to release it yet though, but I will tell you it is Urameshi.

Some people really get angry when they see Mill decks all over the place, but I don't. I don't really care what they play...I just come prepared for just about anything. If I lose, I lose but I don't give greif about it like other people do just because they lost to one Mill deck. LOL. They aren't that hard to beat.

Good job pointing that out to the people who hate Mill decks and quit the game just because of them. Just look at the weaknesses like your supposed to know what the weaknesses are for other decks so you know how to beat them.

You could also use Bang! on King Yama's Wrath or Rokuyukai Challenge etc. or use Kayko's Promise to prevent the use of milling cards (heroic stand etc.)

I remember the kind of Uratogi deck that he is talking about:

3 Banshee shrieks & Shishi W.
3 King Yama's Wrath
3 Makai Whistles
2-3 Orb of Baast

These were nasty, but in the end they became the anti-hand team they were meant to be (Torture was the big turn around).
