Well,I just picked this game up yesterday to rent,it's really fun..I thought it was gunna be a simple game but man this thing is HARD,It'll take you forever to do some of the matches,if you dont be cheap.Well,I made this to talk about the last guy to fight,everyone should know who that would be..and it's Younger Toguro,well..all I have to say is..What were the company smokeing when they made young toguro..so BEASTLY,I mean cmon..If he gets on chance to attack you..and does it right,where he AlWAYS does the combo right,you'll see your health bar go like down to 1,then he hits you and death.Well,last night I was fighting him..and almost died then beat him,I was like "WOOOHOO!!" But then,he get's back up in his second fourm....I was just checking if anyone have any tips on beating this cheesey guy?

Well,that was hard at first but,if You watch he does the same three moves over and over...just keep punching with one button till you find the spot where you can hit him,then just hit there when he's about to do that move..lol,I dont know if you can understand this but,that's what I did.

i knew some codes, but forgot them. I too have almost beaten Younger T only to find out he had a second life bar. I then used no damage and unlim SE codes and demolished him so much because I spent so much freakin time attempting to beat him. Try to stay away from him as much as possible, and when he starts running either do Jumping SG or SG Double, and repeat this trying to avoid his huge combo. If you get next to him, jump away and over him, stay off the ground!!! Those are my tips, good luck.

p.s. I thought this game wasn't fun at all. The most fun thing is the Token game, and that is nowehere near as good as Triple Triad(ff8). I would'nt recomend buying this unless you are a huge Yu Yu fan, just wait a couple weeks for it to drop to $20.

Ah, good old triple triad. I spent so many hours playing that. Anways, I too have discovered to much avail that Toguro has a second life bar. The best advice I can give is to repeatedly jump kick him and when you can squeeze in a spirit gun or shotgun. The main objective is to not get hit. His power is too strong, i mean how do they expect you to beat him?

The way I did it though it took five tries I alternated between the leaping slide kick, sweeping, and jumping spirit gun. Which I must have gotten lucky to beat him in that manner with getting hit by just one punch. ^^; come to find out later the reason I actually felt a little like Yusuke during that battle was I had forgot to change the difficulty setting back to easy after unlocking some characters that had to be done on hard mode. So its not impossible and if you get a good combination going its possible to kill Young Toguro with taking one or no hits on hard though it takes paitence.

Well, I think this game is actually very disappointing. I love YYH, so I bought this game without renting it first. BIG mistake. Although I want to support YYH, I need to find another way, cuz this one aint workin. I do like alot of it, but there's just not much to it.
As for Toguro, I thought he was easy! That is, until he transformed. I beat his first form the first time, but I have never to this day beaten his seconed form. God help us all if he has a third.

This game was actually painful to play. I could feel my teeth grinding as I had to put up with the slip-shod controls and cheap shots from my opponent. The Knife-Edge Death Match was asinine. Once you found the pattern, it was a cinch. I didn't bother getting to the point where I would have to fight Toguro, so I can't offer any pearls of wisdom there. I rented this game, and I still feel robbed.

sadly though, i beat the tournament saga in less than a day or two
as well if you are wondering how to beat toguro here it is: you go to options, game cheats, and type in square X O square X O. Then you battle Toguro and continue shooting a jumping spirit gun A.J, someone who visits maze-castle told me Though nonetheless i love the game infact I bought the game the first day it came out forgot about my homework (luckily my teacher didn't ask for it) and played all night it was the best day of my life that I went back to the mall where i bought it and bought the cash register guy who gave me the game a Mocha at starbucks and VENTI!!! (which is the biggest one!)
so in my opinion Yu Yu Hakusho: Dark Tournament was the best game ever I can't wait till tournament tactics

I thought Yu Yu Hakusho: Dark Tournament was going to be awesome, but when I rented it, it wasn't that great. Don't get me wrong, it was pretty cool, but it just wasn't as good as Budokai 2. It didn't really have the attacks and all that like Budokai 2 did.

I wouldn't spend your $45-$50 on this game. Trust me its just a Rental game.

Also, yes, IT IS A PAIN IN THE BUT TO BEAT SOME OF THE STUFF ON THERE! XD Mainly because it has different gameplay than Budokai..that you may be used to.

I give this game a 6.5/10. IMO its not worth buying.

*gasp* The Yu Yu Hakusho: Dark Tournament Game for PS2 for rental, those words they cannot be used in a sentence well I still love the game I guess the Yu yu Hakusho game is only for die hard Yu Yu Hakusho fans only a few people can love it its just the like the spirit Detective game I loved it and still do
