Pretty much every Indy figure has a low defense value. I played against two of them in the Marquee today, and neither one of them were very threatening to me. I KOed one and reduced another to mostly useless. I'd hang him back and use other figures to block for him until you can get him into position to attack.
In a marquee I would only use him if I knew I was going to be using some wildcards and then I would hang him back to pick people off if they tried to get close to him.
i use him in 300 pt games and pair him up with E lobster.
Sam and Bron are the only figs i n the game who have enough toughness, invuln and impervious to make the tm ability worthwhile. They're both great sponges, absorbing dmg while delivering more pain. Your opponent will be thinking twice if he wants to hit him or not.
Sam will usually deliver 10+ dmg before he gets ko'd
Just think about it, only a few figs (4 i think) have outwit in indy. As we all know it, almost all figs have stealth bcf 3 dmg. Sam can just base the BCF fig, outwit the BCF, take the object (if any) and take one dmg (invuln) the next turn. The opponent will also recieve 1 dmg. After that hit him for 5 and he's out for good.
No, you can't. Feel free to read this thread for the details.
If the figure is on only an object, then Sam Rey can breeze in and take the object, effectively unStealthing the figure, at which point Outwit is usable. If the figure is on permament hindering terrain of the map, however, even Sam is out of luck.
Don't the instructions just say that the outwitting figure just has to be within line of sight and within ten squares? I'll read that thread, and my question is probably answered there, but color me perplexed. Ha, perplexed, get it? Like one of my values has been...
You don't have line of fire on a stealthed figure. Got it.
Don't agree with it, but I see how the game mechanic prevents the use of Outwit on a stealthed figure. WAY don't agree with it, but I suppose that's a subject for another discussion.
